Police have confirmed that one man is dead following a shooting incident which occurred in Grandbay today.
Details are sketchy at this time.

Solutions are needed in Grand Bay. Accusations and condemnation won’t bring any relief to the long suffering residents.
There must be a strong presence of law enforcement officers in hotspot areas thought the community. The easy access to guns and drugs MUST be severely curtailed. Skills and vocational education should be given priority so that idle hands and minds can be gainfully employed.
By the way, where is the parliamentary representative? Has he gone incognito? Are these people mere voters?

Like the older head said them young man can’t be bigger than the village when I was growing up up in grand bay regardless of how bad outsiders would say grand bay is I have never heard of something like that happening in the village. Grand bay youths/ young men plz put down the gun. The same energy u all have to fight against each other put that same energy and try strive for success

I know close to 90% of those who live in GrandBay. There are lots of warn and peaceful people there. However, for those of you who hate to hear the truth, there are a small number of real bad eggs who deserve to be behind bars for an extended period of time. They are young, with lots of energy, lazy, want to live BIG, they are disrespectful, have foul tongue, and believe they can live a gangster life forever. Our court system is a dam joke also. Did i read a guy was recently charged $10 000.00 for the unlicensed possession of a gun? Really? And we had amnesty in place? Those guys rather to pay this measly fine than to surrender their guns.
Finally the same broken CDPF police who thrive at hassling opposition politicians, must go after those ROGUES. They are also in the neighbouring communities, and not in GrandBay alone. Check Bellevue Chopin too.
