Mrs. Selena Shillingford

The St Martin Primary School (SMPS) announced the passing of their beloved secretary Mrs Selena Shillingford today.

According to a statement from the school, Mrs. Shillingford was more than a staff member—she was the warm smile that greeted everyone at the office, “a steady support to students, teachers, and parents, and a cherished part of the St. Martin Primary School family. “

The statement continued, “her kindness, dedication, and gracious spirit touched every person who had the privilege of knowing her.”

The school also extended its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who mourn her loss.

“As a school, we will continue to honor her memory and the invaluable contributions she made to our institution,” the statement added.  “May her soul rest in eternal peace.”

Meanwhile, the SMPS announced that there is no school today. School resumes tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

Dominica News Online (DNO) extends deepest condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of the late Mrs. Shillingford.
