‘The police may end the physical search in the forest, but the case remains open’- Skerrit on Kernisha Etienne case

Kernisha Etienne

Today, March 18, marks 9 months and 11 days since Kernisha Etienne was abducted from her home in Warner, and following months of searching for the missing 13-year-old, there is still no sign of her.

During a press briefing held this week, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit made it clear to the public that police have not given up the search for Kernisha.

“The police may end the physical search in the forest, but the case remains open as far as the police is concerned,” he said. “And so it is not a file that has been closed by the police at all.”

He described the situation as an unfortunate one that traumatized, “and brought concern to the entire country…”

Kernisha was abducted from her home in Warner on June 7, 2022.

In the days which followed June 7, the quiet village of Warner had been overrun by drones, canine units, and hordes of on-foot volunteers, all scouring that Western community in a desperate effort to find the Warner Primary School student.

It was reported that Keyan Alexander, a resident of Belles, who was reportedly mentally ill, took Kernisha from her home at about 11:30 PM on the said night. The police stated that in committing the offence, Alexander went to the home of his uncle, Laurent Joseph Bruno, and attacked him with a cutlass inflicting serious wounds to his head and face, before leaving with the 13-year-old girl.

In the early days of the investigation, public attention was also drawn to the death of Kernisha’s alleged abductor Alexander, who was shot by the police on June 18, 2022, day 11 of their search for him and the missing child.

BTW has Kian been buried. Never heard a death announcement. The story ended right there after he was shot.
Nothing is going to come out of this.

Those in power took away the evidence. Now they acting like they don’t need to know where she is to find her. “We have not given up.” I’d like to be in that movie.

Skerrit, are you the acting spokesperson for the police now? You are soooooo lucky that you are in a dunce country like Dominica. The consequences for you would be totally different by now. They just love to be fooled by you.

If he had kept his mouth shut and showed no interest, you would have said that for a leader of this country he shows no interest in the the well-being and welfare of the citizens of this country. Man woman. go rest yourself somewhere if you have nothing better to say or do. I am sick of you all.

That’s exactly what your hero did 8 month ago. He kept his mouth shut and showed no interest. Now, 8 month later, he found his voice again. In the meantime the ‘accused’ was accidentally shot by his militia. I said right from the beginning I smell a big rat. Or was that you just coming back from work without taking a good shower. Disgusting!

And if he had opened his mouth from the very beginning you would have told him to shut up and let the police do their work and stop being a spokesperson for the police. Your damn rat. All what i am saying is the plain truth. Skerrit remains unstoppable in the political arena.

This minion of Roosevelt, ds, would throw his mother under a moving train to defend his nefarious deity, the scandalous LIAR.

I did have a lot of respect for my mother because that was the way I was brought and raised unlike you and your minions. When will you all get it that Skerrit is untouchable? I have a lot of sympathy for the young girl and I pray God that one day she will be rescued from the hands of the demons who have no respect for her and her parents.

Corrupt people haven’t respect for anybody or anything. They are totally self centred. The cap fits perfectly, doesn’t it.

Look, the young girl was allegedly abducted. Nobody knows or can confirm that. The only suspect in thar case was shot and killed, by the police no less, unfortunate or perhaps convenient. Case closed then?

De police in Dominica do their work very selectively…..don’t worry with that public relations stunt coming from skerrit.
De police stop looking for Kernisha long time ago.
Ta least let de police open their own mouth and talk their own B.S.

@dissident I didn’t know that we had a police force in Dominica! These people knows nothing about police work. They operate more like a gang and Tommy Talkers. I hate to say it – but I have no respect for these people who goes around acting empowered by Lucifer himself. I know that a change is coming; and it will come. We cannot continue to live in such diabolical conditions under a Moron.

The change never came at the recent snap election. When will it come? We need gangs police today to deal with these diabolical thugs and scums. We cannot smile to thugs. We have to treat them as thugs.
