
A Dominican male has been shot and killed in Guadeloupe, with details emerging that point to an intentional homicide. The incident occurred last night in the area of Cour Zamia, 4th Alley, in Pointe-à-Pitre.
A source in Guadeloupe told Dominica News Online (DNO) that local authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday April 19, 2025, and discovered a man lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as Chris Simon of Bath Estate, was found with eight bullet holes on his body and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.
Investigations revealed evidence of gunfire, including ten 9mm cartridge cases and five 12-caliber cases found near the body. Despite the presence of physical evidence, there were no witnesses or surveillance footage to provide additional details about the incident. The police are continuing their investigations into the matter.
