The Swearing-in Ceremony of Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit will take place on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 4 p.m. at the State House Conference Center.
His Excellency, President Charles A. Savarin will administer the Oath of Office. Prime Minister Skerrit led his Dominica Labour Party (DLP) to its sixth successive victory in general elections held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
The ceremony will be streamed live via the Government Information Service (GIS), the Government of Dominica YouTube channel, Government social media platforms and DBS Radio.
I wonder in which category of species would Charles Darwin place Skeritt. Definitely not in the human species. I witnessed a display of “hypocrisy and disgrace as these “three stogies” (two men of the so called cloth and a so called president showered praises on the DLP pseudo self made “bondye late'”; i’m calling on the real “papa bondye letenel sove nou” from those wicked and despicable lesser mortals.
Man,put a little sense in all you head.DLP got a little over 15,000 votes in 15 constituency.In the 6 uncontested constituency the total amount of DLP votes in 2019 is more that 5,000.It is not unfair to say if DLP had contested in the six constituencies the total amount of votes would be a little over 20,000.UWP got 16,424 in 2019.Remember UWP lost 1,163 votes in 2019.That 28% does not include the 6 uncontested seats.Roosevelt Skerrit is not going anywhere,we Labourites will decide when Skerrit will leave,and that is when he reach 60.History has shown political parties in Dominica lose power gradually.19,16,13,11,so Labour is in for another 20years.
