Business and Professional Women (BPW) Dominica is set to host a forum tailored for CEOs, with a focus on addressing the future of MSMEs in Dominica. The organization said that the initiative will emphasize strong networks and strategic collaboration in navigating the current economic environment.
“This event is a call to action for women business owners to unite, share resources, and build the resilience necessary to compete effectively today,” wrote BPW.
Recognizing that women-led businesses face distinct challenges and opportunities, the forum offers a dedicated space for strategic planning and knowledge exchange, say organizers. They stated that attendees will have the opportunity to discuss survival and growth strategies suited to today’s economic conditions, foster meaningful collaborations to enhance competitiveness, and gain insights from successful women entrepreneurs who have expanded their businesses within Dominica.
“In a shifting economic climate, the difference between surviving and thriving often lies in the strength of your network and the quality of your strategy,” said the team.
To enrich the discussions, the forum will feature two business leaders from Dominica as guest speakers. Antonillia Doctrove, known for her “expertise in business administration and MSME development”, will share her insights on fostering business growth.
Additionally, Annette Severin-Lestrade will provide “deep insights into leadership, regional trade, and successful business operations.”
BPW Dominica says the forum aims to empower women entrepreneurs by providing a platform to explore “strategic growth, collective power, and mentorship.’
