Three men that were killed by Israeli Defense Forces on Friday and later identified as Israeli hostages that were held by Hamas had put out an SOS in Hebrew and waved white flags before being shot according to the BBC.
Israeli officials have admitted that the killing was a breach of the rules of engagement.
“The IDF doesn’t shoot a person who raises their hands,” said the head of the IDF Herzi Halevi.
He said Gazans with a white flag must be arrested and not shot “if they lay down their arms and raise their hands”.
The three deceased men were identified as Yotam Haim, 28, Samer Talalka, 22, and Alon Shamriz, 26 – all Israeli.
According to a military official who agreed to speak anonymously to the BBC the hostages emerged shirtless from a building with one holding a stick with a white cloth attached to it.
It is not clear if the hostages had been abandoned by their captors or escaped.
Another 120 hostages are thought to be held captive in Gaza by Hamas or allied Palestinian groups.

Well Israel army has been killing the Palestinian people in that way for years so it’s no surprise that they killed three of their own citizens who strip down to their under wear while holding a white flag indicating they are not a threat. Israel is a country that don’t abide by any international law. They have killed over nine thousand children but the ICC won’t indict them because the court is a construct of America. The ICC indict Putin for taking Ukraine children to Russia but it won’t go after Netanyahu and his military generals who said exactly what they were going to do to Gaza. If those three men were Palestinian they would have said that they killed three armed combatants when their own citizens tried to surrender to their military and they was killed in cold blood. Israel is an apartheid country and one day it will collapse on it self. Only America and Germany that think Israel is a democracy.

Israel can fight Palestinians who are armed with stones, but their weakness has been exposed by Hamas.
Well they have challenged Hezbolla already in 2006, and had to stop the fight, because they were suffering heavy losses in both men and equipment.
