A 70-year-old woman from the community of Scotts Head is now on bail following her not guilty plea to a charge of wounding preferred against her by the police.
Alphonsia Mourilon appeared before Magistrate Michael Laudat at the Roseau Magistrate Court on July 26, 2021, to answer a charge which read that on July 23, 2021, at Scotts Head, she wounded 82-year-old, Thomas Robinson of the same community.
The prosecution did not object to bail therefore, bail was granted to the defendant in the sum of EC$5,000.00 with one surety and no conditions.
Mourilon is being represented by Attorney Zeena Moore Dyer from the Chambers of Dyer and Dyer.
The matter was adjourned to November 9, 2021, for the commencement of the trial.
