A year of conservation achievements

As 2023 draws to a close, we are filled with gratitude for the unwavering support from our donors, and countless contributions of our staff and conservation partners across the Caribbean and around the world. You have played an important role in our success, allowing us to achieve significant advances in coral restoration, climate resilience, fisheries reforms, and improved management of critical lands and marine areas throughout the Caribbean.

In our Year in Review video, you will have a chance to see and hear about the diverse and impactful work we’ve accomplished together. These are just some of the conservation milestones we are proud of this year – supporting Barbados in its planning to protect up to 30% of its oceans, building a climate-smart fisher facility in Grenada, launching the CoralCarib project to conserve and restore coral reefs in four countries, and scaling up our coral restoration efforts in St. Croix, among other achievements.

Together, we made tremendous strides in conservation across the Caribbean, and we look forward to making an even greater impact in the coming year!

Wishing you joyous holidays,
The Nature Conservancy Caribbean Divisi
