Young vendor at past Market Day with a Difference

Dominica Import Export Agency (DEXIA) has announced the date for ‘Market Day with a Difference’, a traditional observation of the Independence season.

This year’s festivities, marking Dominica’s 45th Independence celebration, will be held at the Roseau Market on Saturday, October 28.

Things will kick off with a welcome ceremony, then a tour by government officials and members of the public.

The colorful celebration will center on the participating vendors as well as the marketplace.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and then Minister of Trade Hon. Ian Douglas taken on a tour of the Market during Market Day with a Difference 2022 celebrations by DEXIA GM Paula Platsko.

I must say that this is probably the laziest and most unimaginative independence theme ever.

DNO, Being in the Independence season, I love hearing the lovely creole songs. There is one I love hearing very much. A remix done by LOBSTER and TRADIBELLE. Can you or anyone tell me the name of that song? I need to purchase a copy. Thanks!

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 1 Thumb down 15
