We are honoured to receive such warm welcome from the Political Leaders of the Dominica Freedom Party (DFP) Mr. Kent Vital. He is the second political party leader to welcome us, following Mr. Roosevelt Skerrit, leader of the Dominica Labour Party (DLP) who – within hours of our website launch – called to welcome us and to pledge his cooperation.
As a party, we wish to emphasize, first and foremost, that our mission is to steadfastly promote the welfare of all Dominicans, and to serve our constituents with a renewed sense of vigilance and determination. The purpose of our formation is to create space for growth within the Dominican electoral system, and to respond to demands from the wider Dominican community.
If there is any individual, party, or organization whose mission line up with that of the Alternative Peoples’ Party (APP), we shall gladly work with them in keeping with our motto: People Together, Working for One and Another. In that light, we stand willing to work with any political party in the interest of all the people.
Although it is the wish of brother Kent Vidal of the DFP, that APP’s presence on the scene should be part of an all-opposition force “with should have one goal in mind now and that is to remove the current administration”, our number one or main goal is to satisfy calls for a new approach to electoral politics in Dominica. We are confident that our plans, this new politics, our policies and strategies to win, will find favour with the majority.
Our movement is Dominica’s coalition platform. We remain open to any and every opportunity to collaborate in the name of progress, unity and effective political representation for all the people; this will guide our present and future partnerships.
The public will see the unfolding of our initiatives, and a complete team of officials and candidates – including our first Political Leader – will be introduced to the public at APP’s first Annual National Convention in May 2021.

No! APP should Refute that Route, at this esarly stage of building your Political Party, do not attract “DEMONDS” to contaminate, but USE when necessary. The APP should not let any group steal their “THUNDER”, most to be Honest, was born within the DLP, some also believe that to dislodge them in the present, the APP will have to enter every Home and Village in Dominica with their Message. The APP Women have enough work cut out for them on this Rough Journey of Power Seeking. Is it possible? with Strong Women in the forefront, it always is, but VALUES play a Substantial Role.
You should take time and think before you talk. You would be surprised to know that they tried getting on the other stations. Wait until you hear what’s the real story and who say that Q is only for opposition?
It will take more than 20 parties to oust Skerrit. So, just forget it. And more than Bill Gates money to oust Skerrit. So, just forget about the idea.
The new party fighting for the same opposition supporters. Five more years for skerrit and the Dominica Labour party. If they had any sense they would have gone on the nation station (dbs) or one of the government aligned station to run their programs but they coming to piggy back on the opposition supporters. Five more years for skerrit. Go back to the drawing board.

Dominica needs activism from Non- Governmental-Organizations (NGOs) and influential individuals to effect a change in the governance of the country. More political parties, going it on their own, will only fan the flames of more intense political tribalism.
Everybody wants to get into politics under the guise of helping their countrymen. The TRUTH is, they see politics as an avenue to quick and easy wealth. (From rags to riches like the present immoral, unethical, dark, evil and severely corrupt MISLEADER.
Stupes. Just a group seeking attention so I hope they get all the attention they seeking

With your quest for unity you are taking a bold and worthy step of unity. I do have a BIG BIG problem with KEN’S proposal of coming together to get rid of Skerrit, that’s an automatic TURN OFF. The man Ken is beating a dead horse. Ladies you have come to far to be bed patterns with the DFP traitor. You goals are to uproot the dirt and vipers in our political arena. Stay clean and send the serpent back to his hole. Again welcome the APP in wanting to make a difference.
