According to Yahoo news Taylor Frankie Paul “the bachelorette” of Bachelorette season 22 will still get her salary even after the current season was cancelled amidst a resurfaced video which depicts an assault on her then boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.

The most recent season of the bachelor was pulled just 1 week before airingĀ  when a video originally from 2023 gained attention in the media once more.

In the video she is shown kicking and then throwing barstools at her then boyfriend with one even appearing to hit her own daughter who immediately erupted into crying.

Years after that incident took place, Taylor pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in a separate case. Thursday saw the release of the inflammatory video by TMZ.

ABC who airs the Bachelor and the Bachelorette knew about Taylor Frankie Paul’s arrest history prior to confirming her to star in the Bachelorette season 22. Attorney Reddock-Wright told Yahoo news this likely makes it difficult for ABC to make a legal claim that allows them to refuse pay under their usual contractual arrangements.

The exact amount to be payed to Paul is unknown but is estimated to be 250,000 or above.
