BUSINESS BYTE: Smalta gives back on International Children’s Day

SMALTA through its Agents H.H.V Whitchurch & Co. Ltd has partnered with the Social Welfare Division to bring to fruition a series of events to commemorate International Children’s Day 2019.

The United Nations first established International Children’s Day in 1954 and it is celebrated on November 20th each year.

It is celebrated to promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide, and to advocate for the improvement of children’s welfare.

As part of this partnership, SMALTA provided sponsorship to the Candle Light Vigil held on Sunday 17th November, 2019.

In addition, SMALTA sponsored the refurbishment and mural painting of the wall at Massacre Primary School.

Over the last few months SMALTA has also partnered with numerous Pre-Schools and Primary Schools island-wide, providing students with refreshing SMALTAS and words of encouragement.

Brand Manager, Ms. Melisha Davis states that “…this partnership is near and dear to SMALTA. As a brand, our key focus is on children and providing the proper nutrients and atmosphere to grow.

We saw it fit to partner with the Social Welfare Division in their 2019 initiative as their mission to nurture the minds and bodies of children aligned with our objectives.”

H.H.V Whitchurch & Co. Ltd. wishes all children a Happy International Children’s Day 2019.
