Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) – Call for Proposals Open

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (April 12, 2023) – The High Commission of Canada in Barbados is pleased to announce its annual call for proposals for the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) for 2023-2024. The High Commission of Canada invites local, national or regional civil society organizations, academic institutions, and government agencies in eligible countries to submit their project proposals for consideration by Friday, May 5, 2023.

The CFLI is a program designed to support small-scale, high-impact projects in developing countries that align with the Government of Canada’s thematic priority areas for engagement. The majority of CFLI funding is directed toward local civil society organizations (including non-governmental organizations) and other institutions working at the local level. The CFLI contribution is between $25,000 to $50,000 Canadian dollars for innovative projects that can deliver measurable results by February 28, 2024.

The High Commission of Canada has three focused CFLI thematic priority areas for engagement in the Eastern Caribbean for 2023-2024. These targeted priority areas are:

1) INCLUSIVE GOVERNANCE, including promoting and protecting human rights, democracy, promoting and protecting LGBTQI+ rights, equitable access to a functioning justice system, peaceful pluralism, respect for diversity, and the rule of law;

2) GENDER EQUALITY AND THE EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN AND GIRLS, including addressing sexual and gender-based violence, supporting strong and sustainable women’s rights organizations and movements, supporting evidence-based policymaking, legal frameworks, and program delivery for gender equality; and,

3) PEACE AND SECURITY with a focus on conflict prevention and building peace, for example, supporting gender-responsive security threat reduction and security system reform, including addressing organized crime, human trafficking and smuggling, corruption, cyber-violence, illicit financial flows, and sexual and gender-based violence in
the security system.

Eligible countries within the High Commission’s area of responsibility include Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It is abstract you don’t see it and you will argue with me. However, all part of population control.
Alledgedly the US VP Harris just completed her visit to the Continent with a similar $60mil package with the same LGBQ aim.

Same methods used to make cannabis illegal ‘in excuse for aid’ when we didn’t have a Cannabis problem. We jailed our citizens depriving their children of mostly fathers’ presence. Slick & sick.

All 3 points are addressing lgbtqx &+ as if that’s our problem. They are all over the African countries that they created with that very thing.
We do not have that problem. Saudi Arabs, Bahrain, Oman, Singapore, big money players etc do. As stated by Channel 1 below, isn’t this a Trojan Horse that has lgbtqx written all over it in exchange for aid. Aid to sell your soul otherwise they withhold the “Aid”?

@Just Asking – You are correct. These people will not go or are quite hesitant to go to Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan where there are ‘Bad Man & hardliners’ to push their LGBTQI+ nonsense, but they apparently think Caribbean people are too nice & docile, our fence low enough that they can jump over it and a number of our leaders are professional beggars desperate for cheap aid, so they can covertly and overtly slip in their perversions into our society in exchange for money.

The entire Caribbean & African society must REJECT these LGBTQI+ ideological colonizers.

As a Canadian I am ashamed at this societal influencer type of funding. The one thing that the current ineffective Canadian government is very good at producing is verbal diarrhea. This smidgin of funding is primarily directed towards “civil society organizations”. Meanwhile here in Dominica the medical care situation is a not only a national shame, it is a national health disaster. And private business initiatives, that do not include ministerial kickbacks, are snuffed out!

Dude, we do know better. It’s all about legalizing LGBTQX and +, soon will be abortion, then guns. They’re targeting your legislators. Not even a word about the seriousness of REPARATIONS owed.

Alert y’all. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to the targeted priority areas in Points 1 & 2 above especially re: LGBTQI+ & to an extent gender equality (which if distorted becomes a Trojan Horse for something else).

With all this gender equality talk & empowerment of women, where is the equal funding for men & men groups & men empowerment in this program? So only funding for women-related groups & empowerment and y’all want to talk about gender equality eh. So paradoxical. So comical.

BEWARE of those who utilize all sorts of covert & overt tactics to attempt to re-engineer our societal mindsets by injecting all sorts of UNGODLY, MIND-BENDING, UNNATURAL concepts into our societies. Reject these types of ideological colonization!!!

Sexual fantasy & perversion ARE NOT human rights!!!!

I agree with you. Besides you pushing the U.S Republicans agenda you are right on point this time – it is a ideological colonization, Trojan Horse. Is The U.S using Canada and others to do this when the going gets tough on home grown human rights?

@Just Asking –    ……………Do I really push the US Republicans agenda? Hmmmmmm…………..

Unfortunately, the US government is seeking to tie this LGBTQI+ nonsense to its foreign policy dealings. It’s stunting that in this era, the Chinese & Russians are the ones taking a bold stand against LGBTQI+ while the US government & leftist, deluded elements are the ones pushing it.

So sad to see the deteriorated ideological & social state that America has found itself. It is said that great nations collapse from within before ever being conquered by external forces/elements.
