‘Caribbean’s Best New MICE Hotel 2020’ awarded to Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski, Dominica by World Mice Awards

The first annual World MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) awards – the global initiative to recognize and reward excellence in the MICE industry – has announced the winners of its inaugural 2020 programme, where Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski Dominica won the award for “Caribbean’s Best New MICE Hotel 2020”.

The results followed a year long search for the world’s leading MICE brands. Votes were cast by travel industry professionals and the public, with the nominee acquiring the most votes in a category named as the winner.

World MICE Awards serves to celebrate and reward excellence in MICE Tourism. Their awards programme aims to foster growth, innovations and best practice on a global scale. World MICE Awards is the sister event of World Travel Awards, currently celebrating their 27th anniversary.

    Just last week I read a media report of the top 25 islands in the Caribbean for tourism in this covid-19 season…… Dominica did not make the list of 25!

    Now this!
    Next you going to see another report praising secret bay and fort young.
    In my opinion someone is paying a pretty penny for their public relations!!!!

    That’s my answer to this…..I never take these reports seriously….. there’s such a thing called “fake news”….some people like me call it public relations. Like they want to put their nose in people business.

    How many “authentic guests” to date? When compared to other well established 4 and 5 star hotels in the Caribbean?

    Pinch me…..we struggling with covid-19… will Skerrit announce that kempinski help our economy stay afloat?
