Cecil Joseph sends stern message to public to follow COVID-19 protocols

General Manager of DBS Radio Cecil Joseph is sending a stern message to members of society to comply with the protocols brought forth by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The Ministry has put a number of measures in place to prevent the spread of the dreaded virus. Some of which include, encouraging the public to practice social distancing, wearing face masks, washing their hands frequently with soap, using hand sanitizers, sneezing in a tissue and discarding it immediately among other measures.

Joseph who was delivering remarks at DBS Radio recognition ceremony held on Friday said for instance, some bus drivers failed to practice certain protocols.

“There is a section of the society that does not recognize it and I want to make it as clear, that I have observed that it is being said to the bus drivers that there is a protocol and the protocol is everyone who enters your bus should be masked and should be given some sanitizer,” he stated. “I have recognized and I have seen that many of the public buses are not keeping to that protocol.”

Joseph advised the clientele of those public buses that before entering any bus, they should make certain observations and if the protocol that should be followed isn’t being practiced then they should not risk their lives.

“Covid-19 is no friend of the society,” he remarked.

Bus drivers are only allowed to carry 2 passengers per row instead of one (1) but with strict adherence to certain guidelines.

Dominica seems to be a huge plantation of slaves and Cecil is one of those overseers. He must be in charge of a section of the plantation it seems. DNO you guys should not be giving people like this guy any relevance. WTF he think he is to talk about he observe this and that. We all observed a man physically abusing a kid in gov vehicle. In a real country that is considered assault. What these folks begging for they will get.

But who gives this man the moral authority to issue any stern warning to anyone nuh! Count yourself lucky that you are still a free man – anywhere else in the civilized world where you were caught on camera in a state vehicle carrying out the kinds of actions you were alleged to have been carrying out your uniform would be a deep blue short pants and a shirt to march; not that you would be a strong UWP supporter but rather you would be a client, a guest of the State Hotel where you so, would not be worried about state curfew and state lock down because trust me it would be automatic.

For those restrictions to be in place under the present scenario, logically they should only relax the restrictions when the population has been vaccinated.

If there are no reported cases of the virus in Dominica I hardly see the need for those measures that only serve to lock up people in their homes. If there are no.cases now and these measures are in place, what case can they make for relaxing the rules 2 months from now under the same conditions.

To quote Trump (who I cant stand a bone in his body), LIBERATE DOMINICA.

I wonder how many of the forty thieves of Alibaba are from the north between Portsmouth to Penville or have deep roots there? I suspect quite a few of those thieves of Alibaba that helped Alibaba steal from us had their roots in the north? Ok, let’s forget about Alibaba and his forty thieves and see if we can identify some of PM’s strong friends and their connection:

    Roosevelt Skerrit- Vieille case
    Daniel Carbon- Vielle case

The country is essentially ran like a crime syndicate with the self elevated mob rat that use the power of the seat of PM to gain wealth. He puts people in charge, who cannot go far on merit and ability so loyalty is to him. They dumb as hell and dishonest to the core. All this to help the insecurity of the MOB rat. Meanwhile he so afraid of his people he now use the police force as his personal army going around with a convoy. Only criminals need that kinda show. Taking advantage of the generosity of foreign nations to concentrate power. Pretty soon the rest of the Caribbean will see the lil psychopathic rat he is.

Cecil, unless you are involved in some medical scientific research; unless you have sound medical knowledge, and  have some new scientific measures to be implemented; and replace that old repetitive comment in the quote above.

You need to be quiet, because until a workable vaccine, or an outright cure for the COVID-19 is fond the rubbish the ministry of health is spewing, and you come as a repeater babbling is not news to anyone, not even in Dominica!
Everybody in Dominica wants a photo-op; fact is Dominica can only follow what comes out of the epidemiologists world, where research are done from a hypothesis, and developed into a theory!

Cecil Joseph is out of place. As a journalist and manager of the Skerrit DBS, it would be much better for him to send that stern warning to those among him that using CWI and Dominica cricket to channel their corrupt money.
