“Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalm 121:4
Someone today needs to be reminded that God is watching , seeing and hearing EVERYTHING. If there is one law that still holds true it is that of Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
Many times people in their acts of injustice and wickedness look around but forget to look up. We must all come to the realization that we will be held accountable for our words and deeds. Yes, it matters what we do and what we say because with the same measure that we dish out it is with that same measure that it will come back. Some are often fooled into thinking that when they treat people badly or do others wrong, if a few years has passed and they suffer no consequences all is well but some pay days are longer than others. The fact remains that God will repay. God is watching!
You see, unlike man, God cannot be fooled. He sees when people who name the name of Christ are in adulterous relationships but yet holding leadership positions in the church and in society. Shouting and climbing the ceilings on Sundays but treating coworkers and employees like dogs during the week. God is watching!
So much innocent blood has been shed in our land while the perpetrators and accomplises to these crimes walk free mingling in the crowd, not being brought to justice but God is watching! Countless families still grieving years after their loved ones were violently killed and to date there is no justice as no one has been charged for these hideous crimes. This is not to knock our police force or any other law enforcement agency.
If you have been employed by the people to help protect the people and uphold the laws of the land and you are the ones breaking the laws then God is sure to deal with you. This is a warning to those who continue to do wrong, evil and wickedness thinking that all is well and that they are getting away with it. All is not well because God is watching and at the time you least expect it, God’s judgment will strike! “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:32
We really want to encourage those of you who have experienced or are experiencing any type of injustice, or those whom weapons have been formed against; to live a holy life and release your enemies and the situations to God. Don’t try to take situations into your own hands. Read Psalm 37 especially verses Psalm 37:1 “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.” Oh the pain that some go through from day to day because of the actions and words of the wicked. But know that the words of Romans 12:19 still stand; “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” It may feel to you or seem to you like the ones who have done you and/or your family wrong are just getting away with it but God is working behind the scenes and He will bring every evil worker to justice. “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:14
I am seeing someone, your job has become so stressful because you take a stand for what is right. They cannot get you to lie and do their dirty work, or controlled and manipulated. You are being ill-treated because they are hoping that the pressure will cause you to resign. Many days you have thought about resigning but then you think on your children, your rent/mortgage and your bills and you just pray and ask God to strengthen you. Your tears have been your meat night and day and you wonder just how much longer.
The thing that gets you most is that the people who are persecuting you are professing Christians holding big titles in their churches, but on their jobs are majoring in all the works of the flesh, the world and the devil. You wonder if God is not seeing them; if God is not seeing what you are going through. Be encouraged today, God is watching and your enemies are about to reap the evil they have sown. God will not give you more than you can bear, He is about to do a swift work and deliver you. “…Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.” Exodus 14:13
God has not forgotten your address. He has not forgotten you. Know that the wickedness of the wicked must come to an end and God is sure to punish the wicked. “Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.” Psalm 7:9
Hold fast to the word of Psalm 31:14-16 “But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake.”
