Alive Word: Trust God!

The Richardsons

“Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.” Psalm 62:8

Someone needs to be encouraged to just TRUST GOD.  Brethren we are living in a time when the enemy is roaring and the weapons are being formed on the left and on the right.  Yet in the midst of it all, God wants us to just trust Him.  No matter how things might look for you right now, still trust God.

Do not allow the circumstances that you now face dictate your life.  Whatever the challenge is take it to the Lord in prayer and stand in faith and believe Him to be who He is.  He is not I was or I will be, He is the Great I AM.  I Am is always present.

It may seem to you that God is just not there but He is.  He is with you and He knows and He sees.  God is waiting on you to begin to praise Him and thank Him for just working things out on your behalf.  Yes, God knows what is in our hearts and thoughts but have you taken your situation to Him in prayer?  You are pondering so many things in your heart; talk to God about them and then listen to Him as He speaks to you in the way He wants to.

The promises of God to us are sure.  We can depend on God to come through for us no matter what we face, as long as we have faith in Him.  Do not look back, do not turn back, press forward in the Lord.  You may feel as if you are going under but hold on to the hands of God and allow Him to lift you up and take you through.

So your spouse is ‘acting up’, TRUST GOD.  So your children are walking in darkness, TRUST GOD.  So your work environment is like a war zone, TRUST GOD.  So you are down to your last dime and your bills are overdue, TRUST GOD.  So you are sick in your body and you have spent just about all you have on medical treatment and doctors; yet cannot get a diagnosis, TRUST GOD.  So a family member is very sick and the doctors say they do not have long to live, TRUST GOD.
So the bank turned down your loan application, TRUST GOD.  So your children are going back to college and you do not know where their tuition is coming from, TRUST GOD.  So your church brethren are slandering your name, TRUST GOD.

Friends and family might have turned against you, TRUST GOD!  “In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.”  Psalm 56:11  So you thought that 2010 would be an easier year for you and you are faced with seemingly more challenges than 2009, TRUST GOD.  The shaking has begun but in the midst of the spiritual and physical shaking, TRUST GOD!  Beloved in Christ TRUST GOD, TRUST GOD, TRUST GOD!

Do not allow the challenges to blind you to what the Lord is doing or deafen you to what He is saying.  God is now pouring out of His Holy Spirit in a mighty way.  The trick is, the enemy is trying to get us distracted, get our eyes off what God is doing and to focus on him.  Do not give in to him.  “Neither give place to the devil.”

Ephesians 4:27  “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” 1 Peter 5:8-10

God wants you to trust Him.  He wants you to cast all your cares on Him and to know this day that He is not just good but that He is God.  He wants to remind you of His faithfulness.  He wants to remind you of His covenant and His love for you.  He wants to remind you of His promises to you.  He wants you to know that He cares for you.  He wants to remind you today that it is ok for you to trust Him totally today.

Whatever you face today, stop, pray and remember to trust God.  Do not be anxious, do not fret.  Do not worry, do not get frustrated, just trust God.  “As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.” Psalm 18:30

Saints of God let us TRUST GOD!

Great word preacher ……. to trust is indeed what each one of us need to do . Faith is the substance of things hope for the evidence of things not seen . Heb 11:1 the Bible declared that without it it’s impossible to please God . Heb 11:6 , many great men of faith who had gone thru trying or tribulative circumstances trusted ( had great faith ) in God and he met their needs , and pulled thru for them . Prov 3:5-6 , we were advised to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our understanding but in all our ways acknowlege him and he will direct our paths . Many of us trust politicians to meet our needs for us , but not God . To say , they have more faith in hte creature ,t han the creator . When they’re disappointed , they can’t contain themselves because a man who they trusted let them down . You see , God never thinks like a man , nor lies . His answer is yes-no . The only thing that hinders his will is sin , and if we admit our wrong , turn to him putting our trust totally upon him , than he’ll pull thru for us . I trusted him with my life and never yet seen him fail me , because he never fails , we fail him . I’ve never by him been forsaken , not once , i’ve forsaken him . The Psalmist said ” O taste and see that the Lord is good , blessed is the man who puts his trust in him .

The author is right, and just to add, for those looking for that extra nugget, because iron sharpens iron, remember you have faith and you have enough faith now, in the context of both a noun and a verb. The question is, do you know what faith is? Here is what faith is, in a nut shell> Faith is seeing the end result of what you know is God’s perfect will written in his word, whatever that is, and claiming it as yours NOW, even though it is not yet manifested in the visible realm., that is you cannot touch it, feel it, taste it, or smell it, yet. What that will do is, it will change your attitude about the circumstances that you are in, and you will begin to magnetized it’s reality susequently. Therfore here is a real practical approach. FAITH is, Focused, Activity, Initiated, Though, Hindered. Do this today in your love walk and forgive all those that have offended you and watch your life soar. Has anyone offended you or done you harm go ahead and forgive them today and then forgive your selfand smile at life anew it is all good, because your God Jehova is good to you today.
