Contract signing and sashing of Miss Dominica 2024 National Queen contestants

Discover Dominica Authority is gearing up for the Miss Dominica 2024 National Queen Pageant, with a contract signing and sashing ceremony for the contestants scheduled for Friday, November 17, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

This important event will feature remarks from Daphne Vidal, Project Officer of the Discover Dominica Authority, and each contestant. In an exciting twist, the contestants will also be dipping for their order of appearance at the 2024 National Queen Pageant.

Adding to the ceremony’s significance, the chaperones of the contestants will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Discover Dominica Authority. This agreement further solidifies the commitment and joint efforts in making the pageant a success.

The spotlight will soon shift to Carnival City on February 8, 2024, where the National Queen Pageant takes center stage. The pageant is one of the marquee events leading up to the carnival street jump-up, slated for February 12 and 13, 2024.

The reigning carnival queen, Ms. Adicia Burton, will pass on her crown at this event. As we anticipate the upcoming pageant, we celebrate the beauty, talent, and cultural pride that each contestant brings to this prestigious competition.
