Dominica is now at 16 confirmed active cases of COVID-19.
As part of efforts to stem the increase in active cases of the virus on the island, the Ministry of Health has issued a statement calling for the cancellation of all social and festive gatherings as well as the cancellation of church services in the communities of Capuchin to Dublanc along with continued observance of all COVID protocols.

Glad to hear that PSAs are in the pipeline. The most effective ones will be in the language and medium of the target audience (e.g DNO/Facebook for the older folk, Instagram/TikTok for the youth), It helps to focus on what motivates the hearers – not necessarily the speakers. A parent who will not get vaccinated when strongly advised by health authorities, pastor, priest or employer, might respond to a child’s “Will you do it for me?” ad. Fear is hands down, the greatest motivator in any campaign, but who wouldn’t walk over live coals for their kids?
Folks Covid-19 is not your foolish Political games. It’s seriously deadly and do not discriminate against blue or Red. Get it into your no skull. Spreading nonsensical comments wouldn’t make you safer.
Colombo, I agree with the premise of your argument. However, some of your words to the civilian population were unpalatable. You should direct those words at the appropriate individuals.
This is my question to you. How could you blame the public for being skeptical about the maladministration’s motives when they have lied countless of times to the country? I take COVID most seriously. I’m fully vaccinated. But I can’t bring myself to trust anything these dishonorable ministers put out there in the public domain.

Good move, but it needs to be bolder (Yes, Delta is the boldest virus known to man). It would help to get the public more actively involved. Some quick PSAs should do the trick. They don’t have to be professionally shot – they just have to be real. Some to directly address the viral misinformation spread on WhatsApp, some to mobilize resistance to our microscopic enemy. You could engage the public in an ad competition, engage community leaders and artists to lend their voices, but address the issues head-on. For example, people think the vaccine is the ‘mark of the beast’? Ask church leaders to record their responses to that and make mash-ups of their responses for TV, radio and yes, WhatsApp. Get kids involved – it’s their lives too (unvaccinated ones, at that). So many options that don’t resemble a big stick. For a start, suggest outdoor services (where services allowed) and explore alternatives to in-person, maskless singing. In short, the answers lie outside the box.

2. Since that’s the area that was used to legally caused Choksi to illegally enter Dominica?
3. Since that town seems to be the new corrupt Movie center of Dominica?
4. Since that’s the town that provided us with National Heroes like the Bobbles, the Mano, the president Chalo, the AG Liviso, and the Alicko and Lennoxo? So what is Portsmouth becomes our Epicenter?

Vaccine does work brother, trust me. But opposition should not be held in bondage and throttled in Parliament. Is two different things, please keep them separate. We Dominicans have a habit of doing this, mixing things up and getting nowhere, running around in circles. Concentrate on one point at a time because that is far more effective than “on another note”, which makes your broth thin and with little taste.
If referring to the current batch of vaccines for COVID 19, none as of today, August 2nd , 2021, have been shown to prevent, cure , or stop the spread of this virus………or it’s variants…..prove me wrong, go ahead…
