Dominican author from Grand Bay releases new psychological thriller

Dominican author Sarai ‘Erslyn’ Fabien, writing under the pen name S.E. Fabien, has released a new psychological thriller titled The Killer Knows Us. Fabien is originally from Grand Bay and currently resides abroad, while maintaining strong ties to Dominica and the wider Dominican diaspora.

The novel is a character-driven psychological thriller that follows a couple whose relationship begins to unravel when they realize they are being closely watched by an unseen individual. As the tension builds, the story explores themes of obsession, surveillance, trust, and the emotional consequences of control in modern relationships.

Rather than relying on graphic violence, The Killer Knows Us focuses on psychological suspense and realism, reflecting growing concerns about privacy and vulnerability in today’s digital world. The book invites readers to question how well we truly know those closest to us—and what happens when intimacy becomes a weapon.

The Killer Knows Us is the first installment in a planned series. Readers can also look forward to two upcoming sequels, Safe and Exposed, both expected to be released before the end of 2026.

The book is available on Amazon in Kindle and paperback formats.
