The Dominica Hospitals Authority (DHA) is pleased to inform the public that elective surgeries resumed on Wednesday, 24th January 2024 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital. Patients holding dates for surgeries should keep their appointments and present for admission as previously instructed.

The near 100,00 Dominica population of aliens have sucked the little money we had left and Dominica cannot sustain this flow of immigrants but they keep portraying Dominica as a paradise. Dominican women aren’t giving birth to children as fast as those immigrants. Go check the friendship China communist hospital. If you believe that communist is friends to democracy, then you are being paid by China 🇨🇳.
I did not expect any different. This was a huge negative news story for the Skerrit regime which needed to be rectified as a matter of urgency, if only in words. Anybody seen physical evidence of this statement? Or is it the usual Propaganda. I fancy the latter!
It was breach of state secret to let people know surgery was cancelled so why is it now public information that it has resumed? Or should I ask if DNO is sure this is authorized communication?
Will the public be informed when basic supplies needed for their care are restocked? Maybe we need to have it circulated in social media to get that info.
This uniquely unfit administration had to be shamed into getting elective are bad on track. However, there is no guarantee that this would not recur as the hospital is generally under-resourced.
If this government will only focus on the needs of the people instead of concentrating on self aggrandizement, many of the difficulties we face today would dissipate.
