American foreign policy focuses on deception and opportunity to take advantage of countries with valuable resources all under the auspices of democracy for ‘all’. The ‘all’ including only the countries with the resources the Americans desperately crave. America is in the forefront of wanting others to put an end to arms race. However they are spending billions on creating new weapons of mass destruction and selling it through the world for even greater profit. They do not believe in diplomacy. If one does not comply with America’s policies they will face the guns and bombs of America. Well there are exceptions for example they will not challenge China a country well known for its human rights violations. While they mercilessly bombed Vietnam and poisoned their water, land and forests with the chemical agent orange, they supported the massacre of blacks in Soweto, South Africa. They armed and financed the apartheid regimes of Voster, Botha and their predecessors. They punish Castro and Mugabe for nationalizing their countries’ resources while they supported the ruthless regime of Mobutu in the Congo. Now the current regime in the Congo kills and tortures more of its people than any other in Africa. Nigeria will allow the multi-national conglumerates to exploit its oil and blood diamonds, so the US has no problems with their human rights violations and crimes against humanity.
