Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.Too many young girls are giving away their virginity for nothing. Young ladies must know that they should take pride in their virginity. If someone wants your virginity they have to pay a price and that price is marriage.
If they want to have that piece of gold make sure you have the deed for the gold. Why do you want to give your virginity to any bum that don’t have a job and keep getting into trouble?
Most children who are raised up without a father in the home are most likely to get into trouble (I said most) than those that have a father at home. After God, your family, health and education, the next best thing you have is your virginity so don’t give that away for free; the price has to be marriage.
Marriage is an investment. If you don’t think so you miss the point. When you are married and have your children and you are 60, 70 years old etc. your children are there to take care of you because you invested in them; now you understand where I’m coming from.

Yes, tomorrow, April 17, 2011 is Palm Sunday. That Sunday, every year, starts the week, which contains a day, that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died, for sake of mankind, who came to this world in their state of spiritual death, and with a carnal mind that cannot comprehend God, and His ways of Love, in Spirit and in Truth.

Jesus’ body was buried, and this body would remain in the grave for three days and three nights–the sign of Johah; as Jesus, Himself told the leaders of the Jewish people, who asked Him to show them a sign, that they might accept the authority which He claimed He possessed.
Jesus told those people, the only sign you will see through me is the sign of Jonah, who remained in the belly of a large fish for three days and three nights, because Jonah ran away from the command of God Almighty, through disobedience.
And so Jesus remained in the grave for the same three days and three nights, as God, Eternal Spirit, raised Him, on the third day. For the woman who went to visit His grave, very early, on the morning, which is now known as Easter morning, found that the great was left wide open, and Jesus’ body was no where to be found, except an angel who told them that Jesus was risen, and He was not here; that He was on His way to Jerusalem, where He expected to meet His disciples. And they saw Jesus alive again–not like a ghost, but a Man with flesh and bones. Jesus’ disciples saw ascend into heaven, about fifty days after He was resurrected, in that same form of flesh and bones. Again, an angel told them that Jesus will return the same way He left.
Today, man can attain the Life that is of Jesus Christ, by their faith–to believe, receive, and conceive Life, which is Light in his soul the form of Love, which of God. For Jesus has sent His Holy Spirit to teach and guide those who believe, and are born again, of Water and the Spirit
This new birth happens when we die with Jesus through baptism, immersion in water as a mature enough person–not the thing that they do to us when we are babies. A baby does not even know that he or she exists, much more to remember this thing. Baptism is a choice of an adult person, who understands what they are about to do–not even what somebody pushes them to do; God will teach those who have a willing mind.
The apostle Paul speaks to us saying: “Do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were burried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead, by the glory of the Father, even so, we also should walk in the newness of Life. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body that you should obey it in its lusts. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6: 1-14
The goal of every Christian is to strive to live in this world, as if they are dead to the flesh, that sinfulness will have no control in their minds. Yes, unless we die to our sinful nature of flesh and bones, we can never become alive in God. “Do not be conformed to the things of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind”. Spoken by the apostle Paul again, at Romans 12: 2
God knows those who are in the process of mind renewal, and He will not allow their days in this world to come to an end, before this process is complete. They just have to learn to apply self-control. Transformation must take place in us before we die; for at death, it is too late.

I was a child too. I was fortunate to have had married parents who disciplined their children accordingly and they were strict. None revolted. My mother was home with her children. They came first. She took care of us and all our needs, as a good mother would. She was always there when we returned from school. Of course, we had friends but we were not allowed to run around on the streets. In fact, I never gave it a thought of running around on the street or spending time on the street. I went to my friends home and they came to my home. As children, we were not allowed out at nights.
Parents must take an interest in their children, their friends, whom they befriend and their activities.
Children do need to be supervised. I will say, specifically the vulnerable young girls. Parents need to speak to their children, boys and girls. This means to educate them about the evil in the world such as what occurs to young girls and women which I need not elaborate on.
Boys must be taught to respect themselves, girls and women. Girls must be taught to respect themselves. I would think that this was not taught to many which is the reason why there are so many illegitimate children, some of whom have grown up in poverty and those of today are living in poverty. This patterns repeats itself from one generation to the other generation and down other generations. Take charge of the children and supervise them as best as you possibly could while they are still under your roof and underage.
Instill in them respect for their parents and other people. It is the manner in which they are taught and how they are spoken to which will determine their reaction. Some parents were and those of today are in dire need of “parenting counseling and guidance”.
If children are disciplined, and revolt and refuse to obey, there is a problem. It may not always be with the children. Today, I am certain there is a social department in Dominica that parents can go to for guidance and help before it is too late – for them and for their children.
The world will always have all types of people but if only some parents would nurture their children appropriately and all children obeyed, we would have a world of good people with very little criminal activities if none at all. There also will not be people like who call others dotish as if you know more than they do and are more intelligent than they are.
Keep in mind that parents are accountable to God in what they say and do and how they nurtured their children. They want children, therefore, it is their responsible to ensure that those children are well-taken of and nurtured with no exception. If the children received poor nurturing and they grow-up to lack discipline, love and respect for themselves and for others, God will hold those parents accountable in life and after death. Think God and what will Jesus say (WWJS).

Well, well, well. Is there a correct answer to this? Temptation is all around more so today than in previous years although it existed then.
If there is one thing I am unable to stamina is hypocrisy. Let us not be hypocritical and also place the blame, in many instances, where they belong. Girls/women are always to be blamed and not the men. It is not fair to them.
I would state the majority of times, young girls or women are not primarily and solely to be blamed. Putting it mildly, why not blame the men, the majority of whom if not all of them are the ones who go after the girls and women to tempt them and also lie to them as they claim to love them, saying that they are the only girlfriend they have and will marry them. Time soon tells about that.
Firstly, in most cases, the male gender is attracted to the female gender. In order to please the boys/men, girls/women will give in to them and their begging…., a reason why they get pregnant and too soon.
I have stated that in Holy Scriptures, as all of us know, Eve tempted Adam. In most cases women have not always tempted men. It does not even, even out, the exact amount of men tempt the exact amount of women, if you know what I mean.
Parents will have to supervise their girls and do not allow them to go out alone and late at night in order that they will preserve their virginity. In addition, do not allow them to be alone with a male companion as a friend. There are ways of protecting their daughters when they have not yet attained the age of adulthood. I do know that mothers want what is best for their daughters of all. If they made a mistake they do not want their daughters to make the same mistake.
It saddens me when I hear that a 16 year old girl or of lesser age becomes pregnant. Whose fault is this? I would not solely blame the girls. It takes two and if there is one to be blamed, in most cases, the male gender is to be blamed especially if he is older than the girl.
I am not being prejudiced against the male gender. Also ask them about their relationship with females and how it started and what occurred. If they are honest they will speak the truth.
Why not conduct a survey about this and also listen to the female side of the story? You will receive many and varied responses specifically from girls/women who refuse boys/men their sexual advances and what the men will tell them in order to get them to give in to them. If the girls/women do not give in to them, they may threaten to sever the relationship. I bet that many women, older and younger will have much to state on this matter, exposing those boys/men for who and what they are.

Yes. A relationship should be about loving and respecting the other person, and sex, if practiced safely, is a natural part of a relationship. Children aren’t investment! Their job isn’t to take care of their parents. That is another wrong idea that you Dominica old timers don’t seem to understand. You are suppose to take care of your children and when they are grown they’ll take care of their children. It seems your implying to make kids so they can take care of you. Especially that in most cases, in terms of being a virgin, between the young woman and the young man, the young man is almost always a few years older than the young lady. And so, since he would have the authority over that young lady–as God said to Eve in Genesis 3, your husband will rule over you–that young man would encourage his young lady to value her virginity as well.
Both, young man and young woman, would wait for Love, which of God, to flourish in them, instead of “let us get married so that we can have sex”. This kind of rush marriage almost never live very long, as God is never in it; unless those two people happens to grow together in Love.
One thing I have noticed in Pastor Rawls articles, when he talks about sex, he does not refer to the importance of Love between two people. But Love is of God, sex is of the flesh, meaning that they are tow different concepts altogether.
I truly believe that Love is what makes sexual conducts between two people acceptable before God, especially that nowadays all kinds of people get married for the purpose of maintaining sexual conducts with each other.
Sexual conducts is a way by which human being demonstrates deep fleshly affection that they experience towards each other. Yes towards each other, because the pleasure has to be a shared passion. When it is a shared passion, that is the time it was motivated by love, and God accepts it between the two people.
There are many “two persons” who started as virgins, before they were married, but they loved each other, and continue, in love and marriage, up until today. I know, because my mother and father are a couple, of those people among us today.
God has blessed certain people with the gift of celibacy, that is a fact. But the idea that people believe we must get married so that we can have sex, is not a teachig of God’s Holy Spirit. We must know for sure, that we love each, and to get married, that sexual conducts between us might be acceptable to God.
Without Love, married or unmarried, sexual conducts is till fleshly, and the things of the flesh is futility; it does nothing for our Spirit.
Young lady, young man, if you meet each other and you both are virgins, treasure your virginity; and pray that God’s Holy Spirit will bless you with Love. Then get married, and you are free to experience the pleasures of sex. Only, always remember that sex is a food of the flesh, not of the Spirit, so do not indulge in the habit, that it might take control in your mind. Love must always be the control of your mind.
Great words of admonishment Rev. Rawle. I must say to the young people that it is an accomplishment to give your husband/wife your most priced precious gift. Especially to the young girls I must say that it is a great feeling to know that you can walk down the road without ANY man pointing fingers at you in an attempt to denigrate you. To those of you who have been sexually active i say it’s not too late. You can begin now by purposing in your heart to remain pure until that day when you say “I DO”.
I respect that. True. But what about disloyalty and unfaithfulness in marriage due to unsatisfaction? Some are lucky and some aint.

Angel is correct, but that action demonstrates the height of the carnal mind in those who claim to be Christians, and leaders of Churches, like pastors and preachers. or the Popes and Bishops of the Roman Catholic Church.
Yes, there is a new bible translated with modern or contemporary language for the Roman Catholic Church, rewtitten by the wisdom and philosophy of those who claim to be bible scholars, and bishops. But that bible that bible stranslation is now in contention because of the change of words in it.
As Angel said, one of the most crucial change is the word “virgin”, which is read in the prophecy of Isaiah concerning the birth of Jesus, where Isaiah said: “Behold, a “virgin” shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall His name Immanuel” Isaiah 7: 14
If anyone of you should get a hold of the New Roman Catholic Bible, you will now read at that same chapter and verse of the Book of Isaiah: Behold, a “young woman” shall conceive.
It makes me wonder, why has the Roman Catholic Church been worshiping Mary as a “Blessed Virgin” as if she was still alive; even if they know that she was married and had children, fathered by her human husband, Joseph, after she gave birth to Jesus? But now they have no difficulty in changing the name “virgin” into a “young woman” in their own bible!
If those people who rewrote the Word of God, to use in that Church, did so with the influence of God’s Holy Spirit, would they not understand the significance of using the term “virgin” instead of a “young woman”? I am asking, is every “young woman” a virgin? Not at all!
But the fact that Mary was a “virgin” meaning that she had not yet known no man through sexual relations, that was one of the reasons, among her other virtues, that God chose her to bring forth His only begotton Son into this world.
Yes, Jesus is the only begotten Son of God in the flesh. Jesus is the human Son of Eternal Spirit, Christ, who is Love; for Mary’s womb was flourished by God’s Holy Spirit, that Eternal Spirit, Love–that the seed of Life might conceive in her, as we beheld His glory–the image and likeness of Eternal Spirit, Love–of Holiness and Truth.
Jesus did not live in this world with the control of His human mind, for that mind is carnal, it cannot comprehend God and His ways of Love. Jesus had the mind of Love, who is the Person of Spirit, Holiness, and Truth. In other words Jesus is the Person, the flesh and bones, of God Almighty, who is Spirit. Jesus Christ is Lord! In other words, every person is who they based on their conscience which must send the control of Life into their minds. And Jesus is God, because He holds the conscience and the mind of Eternal Spirit, God Almighty–Christ, who is the Living God, in Him. And God is Love, and Love is God’s blessing of Life in us, human beings, who are born again.
That is why the apostle John tells us that: “In Him–Jesus Christ– was Life, and the Life was the Light of men” John 1: 4 A human being is born again of this Life, the Light of his/her soul, qickened by faith, through the power of God’s Holy Spirit; “born again, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God”. Jonn 1: 13
It is misleading to teach our children, young people, or those who are still searching for the Truth in the Word of God. that a “young woman” conceived and gave birth to the only begotten Son of God, because the term “young woman” does not reveal the significance of that conception.

I will not say that your objection is insignificant, because it is a fair observation. Only that you need to try to understand; that it is not the Word of God that is at fault, for the Words of God is Spirit and Life, says Jesus Christ, at: John 6: 63.
But the enemy of God, Satan in the minds of human being continue to defile the Truth of God. Can’t you hear Satan telling Eve, “you will not die!” Whereas God said to both Adam and Eve, you shall not eat of that tree, neither shall you touch it, “lest you die.” Yes, after Adam and Eve eat of the forbidden tree, they died spiritually. Satan knew that would happen to them, but his intention is to have victroy, even if he knows that is impossible.
In other words, when they accepted Satan’s lies, Adam and Eve gave up the “Freedom of Love, Truth, and Holiness, that they were enjoying in the Garden of Eden, causing themselves to become separated from God, the reason He sent them out of the Garden.
Adam and Eve continued to exist with flesh and bones, physically, with a carnal mind, not the mind of Love and Truth, and they brought us, their offspring, into this world in the same state of spiritual death, with that same carnal mind, that cannot comprehend the ways of a God, who is Love in Spirit, Holiness, and Truth. Human beings continued like that from generation to generation.
Today mankind ignores the call from Jesus Christ, to be born again of Water and the Spirit, bu they continue to function; praying, preaching, and of course, rewriting or interpreting the Word of God, without the guindance of God Holy Spirit. And that is the reason for the confusion or lack of spiritual wisdom and understanding in people. Man claims the right to make rules and regulations as he pleases–pertaining to God and His ways of Love, Holiness, and Truth.
But a time is coming when God, the King in Jesus Christ, will gather all the nations, and to separate them like sheep and goats. The sheep will go on God’s right and the goat will go on His left. “And the sheep will be rewarded with the Kingdom, prepared for them from the foundation of the world. But to the goats He will say depart from me, you are cursed into the everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels”. Matthew 25: 31-46
Just so you know that God knows what man is doing in this world, and each of us will be accountable for our works, by our faith.
Also God is watching those who are weak, ignorant, and humble. Some people will never read a word from the Bible, for example, because those people cannot read and write. But God will show them mercy and compassion of His Love, and they will know Salvation, the Life of Fath, Hope, and Love.
I would be very unhappy also, about what I notice human beings, especially us, who call ourselves Christians, are doing against God’s Love in this world, because of our foolish pride, self-centeredness, and our carnal mind.
But God is Love, He is teaching me, and all of those who are humble, and and strive to maitain reverend fear for Him, to know the difference, by our faith. That is the reason for our assurance in Him and of course, His Word, the Living Word of Spirit and Truth, because of faith in His Love, His Person, who is Jesus Christ.

It is these things that I noticed about the Bible that’s why I left Christianity then embraced Islam. I found in my examination of the Holy Quran, it is a superior book.
The first beauty about the Holy Quran is that for 1400 years it has been preserved in the way it was revealed. It was revealed in a pure arabic language. It is very miraculous in it’s prose, it’s recitation and it’s themes. The Holy Quran has three themes: Firstly, the relationship between Allah/God and His creation. Secondly, stories of the prophets and the lessons learnt therefrom. It presents the prophets in a pure way. The prophets are the pinnacle of moral excellence and character. The prophets of Allah are not viewed or believed as men who committed adultery, incest or any of these ills in the Holy Quran, that teaching is rejected and it contradicts the wisdom of Allah to send representatives to various societies who would be poor role models for man. The third theme are about divine laws and injunctions. We believe in grace that’s why every chapter except chapter 9 begins with, In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
If Pastors and Priests are supposed to be filled with the Holy Spirit and the bible is truly the word of God, why are many of them after researching about Islam, examine its sources revert to Islam? Will one argue that these priests or pastors no longer have the Holy Spirit? If so, why did the christian congregation since some members have the Holy Spirit and supposed to have unity in Christ, why couldn’t they see that this pastor or priest does not have the Holy Spirit? Why did they allow these preachers to lead their flock?
I pray Liz that the All Mighty Allah will open your heart and explore this spiritual journey. Ameen. I have known many sisters who were as active as you in Christianity, however, they were able to identify Islam as the truth after searching for the Kingdom of Allah.

Thanks to you also for sharing with me in peace. I said much more than but they told me I was post too fast. Do want to write so much all over again. Just to let you know that your observation is factual, pertaining to the mentality of us, Christians, especially with the leaders of the churches. Think of me as your sister in Love, and I will think about you in the same way. I have accepted your prayer, and may God’s will be done in our lives. I do not yet know why, but I am learning to accept your sentiments; nothing is impossible with God.
The important thing is not the name our faith–like Christian or Muslim. It is our relationship with God Almighty by faith in or respect of His Person of flesh and bones, Jesus Christ. For me that relationship is an “intimate Love relationship” with Him You and I could be together in that same kind of relationship, and God will use us in the same way. Always remember that united we stand, but divided we fall.
