    Jeremiah 14:2
[2]Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.

The scripture states that the real Jews are black get rid of these counterfeits

    Lamentations 4:8
[8]Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick.

I was aware that this was in Dominica. Just making the point that Dominica has a nativity display featuring a white Jesus.

DNO, why would you publish such a photo? We are living in the 21st century. Dominica is a predominantly black country and yet still you are promoting and advancing the cause of the Europeans.

ADMIN: If we had received an Afro-centric nativity scene we would have published that as well.

I don’t know about the rest of you, Christians, but I just cannot picture Jesus, that Great Man who redeemed me to Himself 21 years ago, to be a little baby in a Manger.

Yes, Jesus came into the World in the form of man as a baby, but this is further than the last thing that He wants us to dwell on at this time and age.

When we speak about Jesus as a baby and giving Him a Date of Birth, we are saying that He started in Life 2000 years ago; He remained in the Body for 33 years; none of this sounds like the man who is the very Life our soul?

Adam existed in the body for 930 years, the first man of the Earth, but the apostle John tells us that Jesus was the Word of God (the Medium, the Person) who created the Universe, including Adam and nothing was made without Him.

And Adam had sons and daughters, right down to Abraham, but Jesus said to the unbelieving Jews: “Before Abraham was, I AM! So what is meaningful about Jesus as a Baby in the year 2019?

The Word tells us there was no one greater than God Almighty, Eternal Spirit Himself, who could bear the inflicted pain and suffering, for the sake of man’s Salvation.

Hebrews 6: 13 says: “For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself.”

2nd Corinthians 5: 19 says: “God was in Christ reconciling the World (mankind, people) to Himself”

“He swore by Himself”, means that He would take the blows (the punishment, the shedding of blood) the ransom that was needed to save mankind from his verdict of eternal death.

To “reconcile to Himself” means that He made provisions for man to return to Him without fear of His Holiness, which is deadly, through His wrath.

“He Swore by Himself” & “God was in the World” refers to One Person, His name Jesus!

Are we intact with those teachings in the Bible? But that is what Jesus wants from us–that we know Him as the Great God, not as a baby.

You see what dat system and bishop did to its followers in DA. Black people in Newtown in Dominica cannot even identify with a black featured image of Jesus: an all white cast. Where else would one see that: a people provided with the images by the said institution who brought slavery to the western hemisphere.

And who are the true protagonists CCJ, CARICOM, OAS and killers – RSS who brought their Jamaican killing desire to our country – only because of the fear of Lenox Linton who will not assimilate- to continue the tenets of their colonial masters: Subjugate a people so they will become the purveyors of their own subjugation.

This is the main reason I feel so sorry for the students at Grambling State University who understand the authority and dignity of freedom and choice: US education, but were caught in a trap (probably before the scholarship offer) between personal improvement and a political gambit forced upon them. A pain that never seem, may never dissipate.

This brings us back to the interesting comments that followed the illustration DNO used for the Bishops Christmas message.

I have never been asked to sculpt an angel as such, but many years ago, at the foundry that casts my work in bronze, another sculptor had created two two life-size angles for each side of a figure of Christ. I was very impressed with his work and especially the angelic beauty of the figures. He told me that his choice of models was: for one angel a young lady of high breeding, and for the other angel…a prostitute.

Get your point Roger, fallen angel and all that but the prostitute could also have started life as a woman of high breeding. It is telling that even today we in local speech refer to that as women of high colour, that can become women of low morals, who knows, only God does and is only He that judges.
