These soothing clear waters of the Laudat river were captured during a peaceful trek into the Dominican outdoors.

Went there yesterday. Wasnt bad at all. Definitely man made pool. Its time that the government takes tourism seriously. This basin was a little stream that was dig up to make a beautiful basin with waterfall effect. we say we have 365 rivers. Why doesnt every community look into enhancing their rivers to create recreational areas for the community and tourists alike. Charge an entrance free, create employment for security and maintenance and cleaning personnel and take pride in what we have here. That is why people like the chinese haitians and spanish want to come here and capitalize on what we continuously take for granted. But no, we want to continue to do what we have done 40 years ago as if is that alone we can do. When i have visitors here, its these quaint treasures we look for and speak about long after the trips. Hats off to the owners of the property. lovely little basin.
This is so clean wow. I can imagine swimming in there on a hot day. Laudat? There are quite a few spots it seems in every area in Dominica.
