    Hi,
I have been trying to communicate with Irving Shillingford, your retired test cricketer. I played cricket with Irving when he was Stockton Cricket Club’s overseas Professional.
I was in Dominica earlier in the year, but told that he was unwell.
I have tried to make contact, but have so far failed. I would dearly love to make contact again. We are not getting any younger these days, so I would to achieve progress and exchange fond memories.
I am an ex county cricketer and it was a privilege to visit your wonderful cricket stadium and to bear witness to the dedicated stand in honour of Irving and Grayson’s names.
I also played cricket against Grayson, when was professional to Thornaby Cricket Club, which was literally only two miles from where Irving played for three years!

If you listen to a weekly sports programme every Thursday evening at 6:00 pm..on Q 95 radio you could call and ask any of the hosts..They do mention his name on the programme rather often.

Ok so we just gonna agree that just cause it’s a bright coloured plad design it’s OUR creole wear. I strongly believe that only the full madras should be called creole wear cause this is getting out of hand now. Don’t sully my culture and water it down keep it as pure as pure can be.
