Heritage Day, now a regular feature of Independence celebrations, was this year held in La Plaine on Sunday.
One of the highlights of the annual Heritage Day celebrations is the awarding of a cultural elder and this year, La Plaine’s choice is former leader of the La Plaine Bele Group, sportswoman and community leader, Hilda Prosper.

That is precisely the modus operandi of fake people. Only when they have visitors they clean their house. Everything this amateurish regime does is to dupe the unsuspecting.
Roosevelt and his servile disciples have perfected the art of deception. Sadly, too many Dominicans and the local news media fall for it every time. SMDH!
well well well, thanks for keeping the celebration in the south east , first time in a year I’ve seen the road sides cleaned or brushed cut and street lights were installed within a short space of time. Need to have a celebration every month!!! wow why only clean up your house when visitors are about to show up? I think should be a matter of principle to have it cleaned all year round.
