Dear Editor: I would like to make mention of a recent lost experienced by quite many, if not all of us, who knew Elder Jacob O. Meyer, learned from him and kept tract of his teachings from the Bible.
He had been quite of a great mentor and example to many from back in the 1960’s with his all over the world Sacred Name Broadcast via radio and TV.
Born 11th November 1934, he succumbed to death this past week on Friday 9th April 2010 (three days after the Feast of Unleavened Bread) at the age of almost 75 years and 5 months.

As much as I could, I would make an effort to give as many of his broadcasts a listening ear to the point of ensuring that the volume of my radio and/or TV is fully opened, so long his broadcast comes on air, if it happens that I’m at home at the time.
That he has done a great work in the Master’s vineyard can only be the sentiment that goes through our innermost being, as we reflect back on his over four (4) decades of ministry work in the preaching of repentance, salvation, judgement and proclamation of the kingdom of Yahweh to the world as best as he could and knew how through Yahweh’s guiding inspiration.
What better way for one to die but in the service of our Creator Yahweh and His Son our Savior Yahshua?
At the same time, it’s a lost to the entire sacred name movement, not only here in the North America region, but around the entire world as well.
May his zeal for the truth of Yahweh in deed and in truth until the end be our envy of him to endure until the end too, as he has.
My sincerest condolences and Messianic word of comfort and encouragement to not only his entire family, relatives and friends in and outside of his homeland U.S.A., but as well to each and every single member of the Assemblies of Yahweh in Bethel, U.S.A., which he founded and lead, irrespective of which part of the world you are in at present.

Elder Jacob O. Meyer (OBM) was one of the greatest men that lived during the 21st century. His knowledge which Yahweh gave him was in depth and I am so glad the Assemblies of Yahweh continue to lift high this great light in the AOY for all to see just as we are instructed in Matthew 5, listening to his over 5,000 sermons that he taught and republishing his works in the Sacred Name Broadcaster. Now it’s our turn to uphold his will in which he said his desire is for the Assemblies of Yahweh to become and maintain to be Philadelphia, the group which exhibits sincere brotherly love. A love unmatched by other groups for Yahweh, our Heavenly Father, Yahshua our wonderful Saviour and our fellow men. Elder Jacob O. Meyer was “called, chosen and faithful”. Many people have swerved from the path, but this man had the Holy Spirit and was indeed a prophet. We read in the Book of Acts prophets existed in New Testsament times. Anyone that values righteousness will adhere to his teachings.

This is sad news to hear. Assemblies of Yahweh – Bethel, PA is one of the first so called “Sacred Name Movement” groups that I came into contact with.
Just to add here that it was after Saturday evening 3rd April 2010 worship service of the 5th night of the Feast of Unleavened Bread that his health became such where he had to be taken to a medical center overnight where he eventually underwent surgery and remained in a critical condition throughout the remainder of the Feast of Unleavened Bread until his death at about 4:30 p.m. on Friday 9th April, 3 days after the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
A weekly e-newsletter mailing to me late Friday (Sabbath) evening 9th April from http://www.YRM.org (you are welcome to view the contents of that e-newsletter mailing to me upon request) reports that Elder Jacob O. Meyer’s death is as a result of brain hemorrhage.
A funeral service will be held at the Assemblies of Yahweh international convocation center at 300 Airport Road in Bethel, PA 19507, U.S.A. starting from 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday 14th April followed by burial/interment at the Assemblies of Yahweh cemetery.
I’ll always recall and keep remembering after receiving the conviction of the importance of hallowing Yahweh’s weekly 7th day Sabbath from attending a Seventh Day Adventist Church public evangelical 6-week tent meeting on the Lindo Park in Goodwill, Roseau back in about April of 1987 that the next phase of hunger for truth that gripped hold of me was the desire to know and find out for myself whether if Yahweh really is that one and only true name of our Creator.
Having already been a subscriber to the Sacred Name Broadcaster magazine founded and Edited by now deceased Elder Jacob O. Meyer even long before I’d ever thought that I would have become a Bible practitioner in 1985, that was the stack of Sacred Name magazines that I had in my possession at that time among other literature I had as well from that organization to resort to for informative teaching behind what our Creator’s one and only name is as well as other Bible truths that I as well began to experience a hunger to search into.
Thanks be to Yahweh for his legacy, aim and zeal for Bible truth as he taught it from Yahweh to us.
He’s now at rest until the resurrection at the return of Yahshua whom he has worked so hard for these many years to declare to us and the entire world.

The truth has been hidden but it takes a loooot of research to come to light. What we thought were put in place for us as a people has just been the opposite. The knowledge of our culture: food, dress code, language, and even our God had been far removed from us. There is a lot of knowledge out there but we have to dig very deep. The Hebrew Israelites reside in Dimona, Israel and have been there since 1967 when the Civil Rights movement was taking place. If you will you can look up kingdomofyah.com for some information.

A man who selflessly share all his knowledge in his endeavour to guide all who would listen into obedience of the bible.

To build on what you shared, the real Jews (Israel), meaning from the tribe of Judah, or Yehudah, are those who first inhabited the mother land and the slaves who were brought on this side of the world. Indeed, Deut 28: 68 says that Israel was to be brought into Egypt again by way of ships, by the way thereof I spake unto thee. Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shalt be sold unto your enemiies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. What race of people on the face of the earth were sold as bond men and women who came on ships? The Bible must be declared as it was meant to be. We have been forced to accept religion instead of a way of life.
The first time that the Israelites went to Egypt as slaves, they walked. The second Egypt or Babylon is considered to be the Americas where our forefathers were sold into slavery. The present day so-called Israelies, are Europeans who occupied the the land when our forefathers fled due to invasion of the land. Theso-called Jews adopted the Hebrew language of which the old Testament was first written and we have forgotten our own language and was forced to speak European languages and practice European religions when we were brought into captivity. Christianity really was not our forefathers religion. The European priest gave us names that had nothing to do with our past just to cut us off from being a nation. There was no religion present at that time. Our forefathers kept the laws and commandments of Yahwah (YHWH). Religion has taught us that when we die we will go to heaven and walk the streets of gold while the Europeans are all in Africa digging up the gold that was meant to be ours and are selling it to us.
Today, our own people have made their way back to the Holy land and are again serving the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and speaking the Hebrew language, which was our original language.
The truth must continually be told but only those who have ears to hear will take heed. The whole world has been deceived, as the scriptures rightfully says.
i never thought i’d really hear that coming from an ISRAELITE IN DOMINICA. It means you have researched some of the very stuff i had for years now. Our people need to know these truths before things gets really worse.
I’ve never known a man with such Great knowledge of the bible and he unselfishly shared such knowledge freely , he was always there to give an advice or lend his support when needed a complete man.
Wow what a loss. He has presented us with countless eye opening books. He has shed light on the name of the Heavenly Father ” Yahweh – proverbs 30:4″; Yahweh and Yashua I am sure will welcome him home.
Yes indeed, he had a wealth of knowledge of Biblical languages (Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek) and had a great love for the land of Iarael.

meyer ….he claimed that he, being an askenaz (son of japhet) was a jew…when the israelites were black….other than that…i think he helped (unknowingly?) opened the ‘eyes’ of a lot of israelites (those carried into slavery on ships, deut 28: 68) all over the world.
Ofcourse he was a gentile (to us) in the end. I think he done what was meant for him to do.
you are greatly deceived. The Israelites/Hebrews were not black, as you suppose but had the color of red lentil. The only black Hebrews of today are not of race, but are those that acknowledge Yahweh as Savior through the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in Yahshua our Messiah, High Priest and indeed King. you err. Read the Hebrew definitions of the words in scripture.
