Wow, if you do not know where Syndicate is, you must not be from Dominica, or you are living under one of the big rocks or in one of the caves in DA. It is practically under Morne Diablotin. There are wild pigs, sisserou parrots, jaco quabier, other wild birds, agouti, manicou, gommier trees, chatanier trees, etc. Lots of oranges and nice spring water. Really lovely ad peaceful. No major threats to the landscape like floods landslides. It is way up in the mountains above Dublanc. If ths does not help then Google “The Syndicate Nature Trail.” DPL please put a marker on the road where you turn up right from Roseau and left from Portsmouth.
For tourists, Syndicate is very cool, and tranquil. The water is very fresh and refreshing. Sometimes if you are lucky, you will see the parrots. When you want to calm your nerves, you drive up to Syndicate, but please ask the property owners to cross he land.
You all Dominicans if you don’t know your geography of Dominica, please ask. Syndicate is in the heights of Dublance going towards Portsmouth. When you go up the hill after Dublance, you make a right, coming out from Portsmouth you make a left. You go all the way up pass the Larocques and other estate. Then you meet Plat Miltan which originally belong to the Shllingfords. You keep going up and finally you are in Syndicate.
Syndicate is where Mr Witnel Louis and the other farmers as the Vidals, Rodettes, Laudats etc have there property. This is where the parrots are eating all the oranges. There are a lot of original grapefruit and orange trees. I know Syndicate almost inside out because my parents, I am no saying who, have lots of property there.
Syndicate is actually just before dublanc. When you are coming into Dublanc it is on your left. Have to take a nice scenic drive. When you reach this area you can hike. You wont quite be able to see the waterfalls but you can hear it. The river below, people are not allowed to bathe in as this is where dublanc and its environs get their drinking water from
