Beautiful picture! It looks tranquil and an excellent area to go for a swim.
Life is to be enjoyed. Those pictures are not only to be viewed but enjoyed. Fellow resident Dominicans go as often to the beach and river as you possibly could. They are also therapeutic.
God bless!
i really need to go around Dominica more often….there were so many beautiful places i never knew existed…its time to treasure hunt for Dominica’s beauty spots…
I am thinking of the same. This is what Dominicans should do. Travel throughout the country and get to know it and those places.
this is so beautiful.
TO ADMIN:I think that for clarification, the photographs must be properly labelled. Sout Man described it:Batibou Beach near Hamstead in Calibishi. The captions would prevent many people from asking the same question. That’s just an observation. Keep up the good work though. Mr. Masek, that’s a beautiful shot.
I agree with that Comment 110% cuz i was still there busting my brain wondering where exactly is that piece of beauty.
@ Me
Hampstead and Calibishie. These are the correct spelling.

Who said we do not have beaches in Dominica? This one is a sure-fire beauty.
Wow! that’s in Calibishie, very beautiful beach, scenic but isolated as well.
Magnificent!! Crystal clear water, rare white sand and lush green vegetation!!
Beautiful but Dangerous Beach!!!
WHY IS IT DANGEROUS IT LOOKS SO LOVELY!!
where is this beach located??? so beautiful
Batibou Beach is in Hampstead, near Calibishie, Commonwealth of Dominica, West Indies. I hate to mention that the incident with the German tourist took place on that beach; so be careful.

Sometimes I wonder if these photos are really in Dominica. I’ve been here all my live and never knew these beautiful places existed. Shame on me. This is a stunning beauty. I think I need to do somes exploring of my own country.
I feel the same way…If you need company…holla!
If you were visit the beach, you would likely not see THAT view. What you see in the photo is what the photographer framed in his picture.
Unless you have the eye for photo composition, the scenes will be there but you will not see them.
Sorry, I think the shot is taken from the path going to Batibou Beach. May be when you look around, you will find it.
Beautiful
