Those bread nuts make me wish for some. Are you aware that bread nuts are similar to chestnuts and vice versa? Chestnuts are prevalent at Christmastime in the cold countries. There are recipes with chestnuts as also chestnut stuffing for turkey. I have a few of those recipes.
Any recipes for bread nuts? I have not seen any.
I recall the words of the song by Nat Kin Cole, “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…” We could also say and sing, “Bread nuts roasting on an open fire…” They surely taste good.
This reminds me that soon it will be Christmas. How time files.

Oh boy….. ‘gwemper’.
Boy I can’t wait to get home to have some of that. This is the real thing, our great grand and grand parents were reaised up eating such wonderful fruit, and that has cause them to live longer. Natural food from the soil, a real belly full!
