Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.

Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.

Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.

Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy.’

    this was our favourite bathing spot, if you come from Marigot, concord our from the reserve (formerly) miss that so much we would say we going to bath at basen, glad people still enjoying it, clean and still clear

    This is just beautiful. Can it be bottled and sent up to us? Imagine us in that water hmmmmmm! no pool can beat that. Keep it up Dominica. You are truly the Nature Isle of the Caribbean.

    This is really Dominica OMG God does wonderful things and we in Dominica are really BLESSED. I wouldnt mind taking a bath there for real.

    For those of you who are still out there looking at this photo, please don’t feel so bad, I’m home now I will take a dip for all of you, ha ha ha, that’s a lot of dips right. So you can be sure that I will be enjoying my cool refreshing river bath, and when i’m done i’m going to catch some veeyoh.

    WOW this is enticing,Thanks God.there are still some of these places left.I remember when the Roseau river had basin like these, from the river mouth way up to palmgrove even futher,every 100 meter there was a spot,sad to see this river today.I just hope we can preserve what we have left.what a beautiful spot.I definitly would love to take a dip now.

    Damn, that beats any ‘Infinity Edge’ swimming pool!…and here I am freezing in an air conditioned office :( …brings back memories of spending my summer days swimming ‘Under Power’ and ‘Champagne’. :)
