have anyone of you who write these comments ever actualy waiked on or drove on that bridge,or better yet still, have the people of rosalie asked the government or anyone of you to do any changes to their bridge, does anyone of you know how long this bridge been there jeez give you all petty minds a break, if it had not been for the photo shoot none of you all would have been watch dogs for the rosalie cummunity let the poeple who live there raise their voices.

This bridge has withstood countless floods. I walked across this bridge after hurricane David. Still standing strong. But the comments of the masses are correct! Foresight is needed and guard rails and an increase in height of this crossing is warranted.
Is this just only a foot bridge? And even if, it still needs guard rails.

On the flip side, I think this photo has a very important message in it. I know this might be one of the main exits, if not the only one, from Rosalie. Look at its size, and height above the raging waters and just think of how long it has been there fighting against the river’s currents. If and when the river decides to take it “down”, what plan “B” does our Government have for its possible immediate replacement or reconstruction to facilitate access to both sides? We know that everything can’t be done all at once, but this I think should be some priority. Let’s learn from Matthieu Dam Bridge disaster
I totally agree with you! The government needs to be proactive in this case and deal with this issue of this bridge before it’s too late. Many times the powers that be in this country wait for aometihng bad to happen before they start doing something.
But this is indeed a BEAUTIFUL photo. I reminds of why i love going to the river.

really? “raging waters”? you see raging waters in that photo? if the river “decides to take it down”? the river has a functioning brain? a “beautilous” photo? should I even touch that?
If your point is that government needs to have contingency plans in place should there be damages to this structure as a result of some natural disaster relating to the Rosalie River, then I agree – but that should be the case for all bridges since they all cross rivers. That point notwithstanding, try to lay off the malapropisms – that way your ideas will appear more well thought out. The bridge appears to be in need of expansion too, or at the very least, guard rails.
I am sure that when he said “when the river decides” he was speaking metaphorically. Don’t try to be a smart-ass and just make yourself look like an ass. And yes that bridge needs some expansion or upgrade. Nature can be very unpredictable, those waters might seem docile for now but you never know what hurricane or storm could make them act up. And it’s always in the least expected areas that these things happen and then when it does it’s already too late.
