Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.
Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.
Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy’

I’ve read all the comments to date and can relate to all of them. But I wonder why the photographer chose to remain anonymous? Messages can be subtle and subliminal. There have been subliminal messages in music that caused the suicidal deaths of others. We cannot take suicide lightly and even to the extent of poking fun.
In the USA, a noose is a symbol of lynching of the negro. I’m sure that Admin. is aware of that. The regular folks who scheme the surface only see the humour. A responsible publishing house needs to be more sensitive and responsible.

These sort of things makes DNO seem less credible as a news resource, and more of an entertainment for the idle. Mr. andrew please review your editors and persons managing your sight. I know of many individuals who now regard DNO as “majjii” as we locally put it. For a media resource that started in such high standing, the website is more known for humour rather than credibility. Down to the photo of the day, which in this case, was copied off the internet, has no credibilty, is NOT of dominican photogropher or taken in Dominica. I am truly dissapointed in how this site is turning out and hope that the Admin and Mr. Andrew review the entire outline of the site. Also, the new layout makes finding news article an unecessary bother. Don’t take my word for it, proove it by doing a servey and see how many of you readers favor this new look.
THis may not get posted but myintention is to make you guys aware of the opinion of some who value quality. Hope this helps

Isn’t the photo of the day suppose to be something of significance? This is so nonsensical. There is so much around to showcase instead of nonsense such as this. Wat can one learn or appreciate from this picture? Get real people…we are moving forward not back….Admin, do your job. I am sure there are much more worthy pictures to publish….
