We need to eat our own on a daily basis but not a whole lot at one time unless we exercise to keep the fat down. When we eat what we grow it shows that we are keeping the tradition of our ancestors. They ate healthy and lived a good old age.

Let’s go back to planting and eating local.

    PEACE

The only food that isn’t native to Dominica on that plate is the salt fish (an import), I know it is being eaten year round but its high on our creole food ingredient. Jamaica has the same issue with their nation dish, which is ackee and salt fish. It is an import

I cannot believe we are still encouraging people to eat salt fish in this day and age … neither local nor nutritious with its incredibly high salt content. Note the dieticians advice from a few days ago. You CANNOT wash out or soak out the salt in salt fish to safe levels. By the way .. you realise it is the lowest quality ‘cod’ which is salted and sent to these islands , right? .. there are a million and one local , unprocessed, fresh alternatives that God himself gave us. Use them .. and cut the food import bill at the same time .. You know it makes sense.

Zandoli, you are one of the Dom-Dominicans most people talk about your opinion is like a pie hole every one has one ,the presentation look great on the plate , and when ready to eat you remove the skin, it does not take a rocket scientist to figure this out ,,you have to much time on your hand, I suggest you volunteer some of your time to rebuild the nation.

Zandoli so my grand mother serve her zaboka. I don`t see anything wrong in serving food with an unpeeled slice of Zaboka
