thats my problem with some ppl.. i find we follow one style of cooking too much…. i cannot just make something simple.. we must learn to try new things.. if i had just do it the other way it would be tooo boring… take a look at some of my food on facebook…

As observed on this Website there will always be critics who lack appreciation. They are never satisfied with what they see and read. They are too negative.
The souse looks good with the cucumber. I love cucumber too. This is how I knew souse was prepared and should be. Cucumber is good for us and adds taste and nutrition to the dish. Cucumber is not meant as a side dish.
As a child, I recall one of my older sisters would cut cucumber in a spiral. I have yet to master it. Still trying :)
        Have a great day!

God created pigs. What do you think He created them for other than for edible meat for human consumption? Can you name any other reason? Some of you set your own rules of meat for human consumption which are incorrect.
I LOVE PIG MEAT! The best tasting pig meat – pork I ever tasted is that in Dominica. This is another reason I retained my love for pork.
False prophets. Not eating pig meat will not get you to Heaven or not faster than those who eat it. EAT YOUR HEART OUT!

Muslim_Always is probably talking out of ignorance. The first time she tries it I guarantee that she will marry a christian man who will give her breakfast in bed (souse) on a Sunday morning!

People Eat Snakes and lizards too…

We must be open minded enough to realize that the world is not defined or limited to what we know as our culture.

The world is a diversed place with many many customs and cultures that are halfway across the world to your own. Don’t think that because your culture taught you something that it is the norm of the day.

You will be surprised when you go out there that the world is nothing as you think you know it…

God made pigs to live peacefully and multiply as we do! Not for humans to eat!

        ………………………………..THOU SHALL NOT KILL!!!……………………………………

Did you forget that commandment with all your hypocrisy? I guess he meant thou shall not kill only when its time to eat? You’re obviously not a spiritual person and you obviously haven’t been the one killing the pigs yourself, but you perpetuate murder just the same, MURDERER!!!

You don’t have what it takes to slaughter a pig but I bet you’re first in line to eat the dead rotting carcass. Just by the way you talk I know you’re a carnivorous beast willing to drink the blood and eat the flesh of poor unsuspecting animals, and people too if they let you. You have already eaten human flesh I’m sure because you can’t tell the difference either way. You were probably front and center at the rabbit festival “licking your chops” at the site of a defenseless rabbits demise.

You eat your own heart out! Your pork diet has already begun doing so for you, you must either suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure, or hypertension….. besides you’re the one with the love for dead flesh, I will be doing no such thing! 8)

        Rot in pieces

Truth, Justice, Love, Peace and Unity my foot.

More like lies, injustices, hate, war and disunity :-P

P.S I loved your devilish emoticon, really brings out your true character.

Great picture. Dominican delicacy. I love souse! It looks delicious. I recently attended a social function where souse was also served.
I cooked some goat meat on Saturday. The next on a Saturday is souse – yum. It makes me yearn for this souse.
