That’s the place I learnt to swim.
We have no right being stressed living in this paradise!
These photos should be used to market the island!
I can wait to see this fall on my next visit I will definitely be there!
Hmmmmmm…….. I feel like bathing now… It is so hot in Roseau now….i love itttttttttttt!
Actually, is the Pointe Mulatre River, which is a combination of La Riviere Blanc at Delices (Historically there was never a river in Dominica known as “White River. Please don’t go around changing names of places, plants etc). The Pointe Mulatre River (a.k.a. River Blanc) enters the Atlantic Ocean at Pointe Mulatre Estate on Dominica’s south-east coast.
Quite often, the water in the river is somewhat discoloured, and may assume colours of turquoise, creamish-white and even dark grey. The reason for this: some of water contributed by the River Blanc comes from the Boiling Lake and Valley of Desolation. River Banc also flows through the popular Victoria Falls, – possibly the only Dominican waterfall which can be seen on Google Earth.
White River, L’riviere Blanc, is the same river. Never know Delice with no river except tou ma izebe. Laroche and Victoria have rivers which is where we get the White River and this is lovely. River to die for
thats what i miss the most… my river baths and beach days… simple pleasures :-(
I am living in a country where the only flowing water I see is after a shower of rain. Whenever I see a river like those we have in abundance in Dominica, I marvel at how blessed we are in Dominica but also how much we take for granted the things that God has blessed us with. I cannot wait to come back to DA to have my river baths which I love so much. I remember when I was growing up, they used to call me Kwibish because whenever my parents would miss me, you could find me in the river. Dominica is just awesomely beautiful.
Check to see if your documents are in order to travel cause once you go and after having all the river waters you want then after two weeks it becomes boring and you might want leave on the next flight back to the U.S.Just a word of advice from some one that`s been there and done that.
Yeah Yeah Yeah……Just appreciate for the two weeks!
Nonsense. Dca has lots to do and see. If small minds want to see landscapers and malls they will get bored. When broadminds come to bask in nature, you can never get bored. Too much to do.
this looks great… ive never been der.. can some1 pls take me
depends; are you paying?cuz i will take you on a unforgettable tour.lol
