Admin: the purpose for “Photo of the Day” is to portray everyday life, the lighter side of Dominica and other things people tend to overlook. All photos are taken in public and of course opinions differ on photos. The person in question did not see it as degrading but a way of having fun. Freud famously once said, “sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.” So take the photo at face value and stop being so judgmental.
I would have to agree with individual who commented. This does not warrant pic of the day!
Its carnival time and the hotdog song was quite a hit. The pic is quite appropriate for the season. DNO should’ve maybe mentioned the song in the response. I am certain that the person with the hotdog was all about the song!
Now i see why our young people are going astray………..is there anything about this photo to laugh about. A granny with a sausage in her mouth which depicts a penis…..what message is she sending to our young people that we cry on so much…this is shameful …she is not setting a good example……so now tell me someone can u see the evil in canival…seriously take a look at this….

If in this life people cannot learn to discern for themselves and just take on everything that they see then they are doomed. Because I see a woman with a hotdog in her mouth having her fun I have to take a message from that as a young person?
As young people we have to be able to determine what is right and what is wrong for us. We have to be able to stand within any crowd and hold on to our morality, ethics and the character that we are made off. Not to be double minded and unstable in all our ways being swayed by every breeze that is blown.
I see this picture, have a small chuckle and I move past that. This is how the mature mind operates. I do know that unfortunately not everyone is as equally mature and can be influenced by some things that others won’t be. But seriously I think this is not one of them. This pic stirs no more than a 10 second amusement chuckle which you just relate back to the song and move on.
So please do just that and don’t frustrate yourself with this.

She may have been showing off on how she smokes her cigars; so what the hell is wrong with you? Or better yet; did you ever put Mr.Toe Lees in your mouth?
