all those who said Carib Reserve they are correct salybia exactly opposite the salybia govt school the one that was set up by the venezulans
Thats Marigot,not Wesley.
WHERE IN MARIGOT? BYSUS
lol at carib child for not knowing his/her own place and lol again at anonymous for the comment…lol
Thats correct. Thats Wesley. The pic alone says it all!!!!
what that correct there you need to take a drive around the island befor u just say what you want, for your info this is in the carib reserve next to the school
This certainly makes me laugh. The pic alone says it? Really?
Can’t decide what village, Marigot, Wesley the Caribe area? Whoever owns the house knows where this place is.
The colour of the soil is unique and appears fertile enough to grow fruits and vegetables. This is beauty in itself.
Danger!!!what da hell… this is serious dat house is gonna fall very soon
I have to laugh at this one. Only in Dominica you say? I hope the owner and family are not residing in it. The house is unsafe to live in. All it would take is a downfall of rain, if only soil erosion to cause the house to sink and fall unto the road. A retaining wall should be immediately built near that house.
This is serious concern. We should know by know that making those deep cut slopes next to houses/buildings needs planning. I mean there is engineering that goes into the stability of slopes. Just a glance at this, and the first thing I thought of was safety issue. Don’t seems like there was much planning.
I do agree with you. It is a serious matter and a safety concern for the occupants of this house.
my house dat der boy, doe say dat. lol just kidding
A wonder Mr. B did not forward this pic to the planning division as well.
Instead, it’s the Picture of the Day! And we love it!
They’re grading around, so soon the owners gonna be using a ladder to climb up to their home! Lolol
Wowthat’s what you call getting by. The high voltage lines right above the dwelling house. Oh lovely dominica
This is at St. Cyr in the Kalinago Territory. They are straightening the main road and creating a flat section for the building of a resource centre near to the new Salybia Primary School. A deal has been made with the owner of the house and this will soon be demolished.
Good news!! Infrastructural developments are great for Dominica, especially the widening of our narrow roads.
Where was this photo taken?
Ohhhhh what I would do for some of this rich dirt to landscape my yard.
I am
Presuming that they are either going to erect a sturdy wall to prevent ‘ land slippage’ or they are going to relocate this family… In the absence of that there is going to be a constant erosion of this land resulting in the home owner losing their property and the road being constructed being rendered impassable.
I was presuming the same thing from the time i saw this lmao… I cannot believe this is going on… well I hope they do the same thing if not I’ll see another headline from DNO in the future about a house falling off a small piece of land and landing right in the middle of the main road HOPING no one will be in there at the time!! They need to figure out something quick because erosion is a constant thing, especially when it rains heavily!
Looks like somewhere in wesley.Where is the physical planning division?
Wesley maybe move to Kalinago teritory now.
This looks like Wesley indeed; the big corner aftr Joff?
interesting photo. would love to have an explanation.
alas
