Dominicans really wicked eh. Hypocrites hypocrites hypocrites. Mr Mervin while I am strongly against the sexual abuse of women, whether children or adults I have to also remind you sexual abuse is not the only thing destroying the young people lives today. Drugs is also finishing their lives. Wink wink wink

This noble and inspiring event has assumed a parochial dimension in some circles which is unfortunate….

So holding up a placard already fool your head? How difficult it is to do this? IF that’s how you chose a mate your children in trouble papa

  13. March 8, 2016

It is my opinion that sexual or physical abuse of women should be dealt with separate from child abuse and sexual molestation.

What are you talking about? The sign is in solidarity with women, “females” and it doesn’t matter how old that female is. And it is dealt with separately, because it is different in the sense that pedophiles molest and sexually abuse children. Children are innocent and defenseless, they are scared and terrified when it happens and they are scared to tell, whereas women know what is happening to them, but sometimes choose how to deal with the crime, because of past abuse some of them never report it.

really? i agree that these men if found guilty should be held accountable and punished to the full extend of the law however i disagree with something that you said which is “Children are innocent and defenseless, they are scared and terrified when it happens and they are scared to tell” i’m sorry but it hardly seems that in this particular case that this young lady was scared and terrified. infact she has several sexual videos circulating at the moment. some of which she is the only participant. yes we have to deal with the issue of child molestation/abuse however we parents have to be more watchful of our children, girls and boys and protect them the best way that we can.these men have always been around and will continue to be around until we open our eyes and not our hands when these men open up their wallets.

Indeed but in light of of recent events, I think the focus on child abuse and sexual molestation is quite appropriate.

All sexual exploitation should be treated with the utmost severity, regardless of the victim’s age or gender.

Sexual abuse is not the only form of abuse nor is today based on recent incidents surfacing in the airwaves.

Following the October Revolution, the Bolshevik Alexandra Kollontai persuaded Vladimir Lenin to make [March 8th, International Women’s Day] an official holiday in the Soviet Union….Kollontai believed that, like the state, the family unit would wither away once the second stage of communism became a reality. She viewed marriage and traditional families as legacies of the oppressive, property-rights-based, egoist past.”

      March 8, 2016

You don’t act based on other people’s actions/deeds. If you were to do that, would you go to church? Would you take part or be part of a group of persons whom you know are not pure? We all have sinned and no one is perfect .. but we can aspire to do better, and if we are aiming and by our actions and deeds, one can see the fruits, then who are you to condemn or pass judgement? Are you better than him? What are you doing to support the cause? Please provide us with an alternative. We are always too quick to bring down other people when our hearts are stained black.

As I see it……… Do you have any thing to say about the message?

    • March 8, 2016

Short the hell off, whoever you are seems like the truth hurts, you choose not to eear purple that’s you, no one of us is perfect including myself, we all makes mistake in life, you pointing figures at the guy, who knows maybe thousands fingers pointing at you, and you also need to search your soul/heart. Mervin appreciate what you did today and continue standing for children and woman, and to this person the guy was brave to come out and show his face, instead of you hiding infront of your PC or what ever device you used to throw your stone, be brave, use your real identity instead of that fake name
