PHOTO OF THE DAY: Jounen Creole lunch

Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.

Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.

Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.

Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy

    same fing with allu e no…if it was just a set of gravy alone n 2 little dumbway in it or 1 peice of fig, u would say where d ‘food nuh?’ and ‘dat 4 my money nuh?’…dat one have plenty food and nuff crab in it to full ur belly 4 ur money worth.

      WHY THE NEGATIVE COMMENT?YOU WANT TO SEE GREEN ,GO TO NEW ORLEANS WITH THAT DISH AND YOU WILL SEE HOW MANY GREEN $100 US BILL THAT DISH IS WORTH .YOU MUST SEE WHAT THEY SERVE AS A CREOLE DISH CALL ‘GUMBO’.IN ANY EVENT THIS IS NOT THE PICTURE OF CRAB CALALOO.PUT SOME MRS JACK HOT PEPPER IN THAT .

    It is only 9:45am here, where I am. I was about to go have some eggs and tomato for breakfast, but this dish here, has made me feel so hungry, and what is on the plate is the only thing I feel like eating, now.

    Ayelass! Ayelass! I have no choice but to do with that egg and tomato, but I would give anything to have this dish before me.

    Now I wish I did not see it. Good heavens!
