i see it have a few pappishow people writing today. “whats thats’ I wonder how it taste, i wonder if i have the recipe.
stupppesssssss . fresh off the boat and pretending to forget things. go on with your damn selves stupesss. who cares if u making bread with a bread maker. sounds like you just want people to know you have one. check your self .lol
@ who cares
You are the one who is stuppess. Some as you just cannot allow people their right to comment as they feel like. Does this mean that they are pappishow and stupid? Absolutely not!
Furthermore this Website is meant to amicably dialogue with one another and to provide your comments. How would you like it if someone directed demeaning comments to you and about you?
You do not sound like a nice person but a dictator who cannot accord others their due dignity and rights. You need to learn to be loving and kind and in your words.
The words of Our Lord Jesus Christ: “Treat others as you expect them to treat” you.
He also said, “Unless you change and become like little children (loving and humble) you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” And, the Second Commandment is like the First Commandment: “Love one another as I love you and as you love yourself.”
Did you go to Church at least on Sunday? Did you pray today, sincerely and humbly? I doubt both. For if you did, you would not have made such derogatory statements. You would guard your heart and mind including your fingers, the latter when you put them to the keyboard.
Appreciate what others state if it did not insult you. Your comments depict that you are a malicious person. You have greatly erred, insulting a fellow Dominican. Repent and apologize with a loving, humble and contrite heart that God might forgive you. You are in dire need of the grace of God and His blessing.
You must have serious issues ‘who cares’. Because you know doesn’t mean every one know. I have no either what that in the picture is. So give people a break. Not all of us come from country like you!!!
@ whatever
Yes! ‘who cares’ has serious issues. I thought of this later and that this person may be an unhappy and miserable lot to make such a comment which did not harm him/her or spewed insult in anyway. This person has a serious problem. I feel sorry for him/her. This is one person who is also in need of prayers.
u the stupid one looking down on people for sharing their views…is not the matter them people jus come out on boat and pretending…i born and raised right in DA but i NEVER KNOW cassava bread nor what it taste like..i never see one until now in this pic. so YOU need to stop talking crap…
I would love some Cassava Bread. They look delicious. Make me feel hungry for some. Also love the manner how they are baked. I make my own, homemade bread. The fastest way is in a break maker. I wonder if I have a recipe for this bread in my recipe archives. Must check.
You should google ‘casava bread’…then you will know you can’t use a bread maker..
@ was thinking
Re-read my original writing. I said “I may have the recipe.” I did not state that I will make it in the bread maker. I said I love baking home-made breads (cakes and muffins too) and the fastest way is to make the bread in the bread maker (if people have one. I do and some people whom I know have one). You can prepare the bread ingredients, place them in the bread maker, ensure that all is well and go out shopping for a few hours or perform chores until it is done. After it is done, it goes off automatically. This is the idea why I said a bread maker is faster but not necessarily in terms of time while the bread goes through the required hours’ cycle.
I love home-made baked goods. Prior to making bread in the bread maker I would knead the bread, etc. However, this was time-consuming. It had to be re-kneaded and allowed to rise and you would have to remain home for almost a day until it is baked. The process is a long one.
Residing overseas, at least I know what I am preparing and eating. Now-a-days many more people opt for home-baked goods and home-cooked meals. It is also cost-cutting. I did not have to make myself more explicit.
I will not Google it. I have ample recipes including coconut bread, etc. I do believe I have the recipe and a few other Caribbean/ Dominican ones. Throughout the years I have cut-off some from the ethnic newspapers and also what was given to me and I have some recipe books. On occasion I make a few of the recipes. Sometimes I am just too busy to make them, for now. A favorite of mine is also baking casseroles.
When entertaining, those Caribbean recipes do come in handy. They are unique and tasty. I love trying out different recipes; not necessarily those from the Caribbean. I call myself “an international person”; likewise having such friends.
Do you have a bread maker? Have you ever tried baking in a bread maker? There are holiday breads and other types of bread with certain fruits, nuts and cakes recipes in the bread maker instructions.
I would not be surprised if Cassava Bread (depends on how it is done, as a loaf) could be made in the bread maker. Knowing me, one who loves to try different recipes, I would try it in the bread maker but as a loaf. If the recipe shows “a loaf” then it is acceptable to bake it in the bread maker. I am certain there are different ways of preparing Cassava Bread.
On the other hand are you aware that you can use ‘the dough cycle’ and at the end of the cycle take it off and place it in the baking pan to bake in the oven? Even for normal breads, the dough cycle could be used. It all depends on one’s likes and dislikes and the time factor.
The original and natural way is always the better way and may also be healthier. Let us not make an issue out of it.
So you see, people have different ideas. They also add to the recipes to make them tastier or they can exclude some ingredients.
They are not stupid and showing-off. It is a wise idea to read and listen intently where necessary and comprehend what is stated.
There are some of us, as good, generous, hospitable friends and neighbors who also like to share advice and also share whatever we have and make in our homes. We should not keep every good thing to ourselves but share all good things with one another (St. Paul).
I am all for learning the good things of life if it will benefit me, is healthy for me and also for my soul. This includes caring, sharing and being respectful to every one while speaking the truth and striving for perfection. It is something which some people still lack through their own fault and have to learn.
Love cassava bread it is de best. Love how the kalingo’s make it. I always buy by the dozen to take back with me, that is one of the local things I look forward to when I visit dominica.
