This is absolutely breath taking! Such a beautiful scenery. No wonder Dominica is called the Nature Island of the Caribbean. Thanks DNO for allowing us who are out of the island to share such beautiful moments. This picture makes me realise what I am missing.

Dominica has always been the (nature Isle’ of the Caribbean) and with all the beautiful green Mountains, this is what makes us special and it is time we Dominicans wake up and respect our sweet Dominica. I am just 45 minutes from my Country of birth and do visit all the time.
Fresh Water Lake looks stunning! Looking at the daily photos soothes my home sickness and relaxes me! I can’t wait to go home next year!
As the people of her land, we just need to strive to maintain the attitude and conducts of Love, towards our fellow Dominicans and our Homeland, the only way Dominica can remain the Nature Island of Beauty, Splendor, and Culture.

@Emil Ti Kwen: That perspective of the lake can be seen from the ridge that you climb when going to the Boeri Lake from Freshwater Lake. In the photo you can see the road leading to the car park at the Boeri trail head..

Oh Dominica the land of beauty, Oh yes our land so green and beautiful. It looks really green and breath taking. been there once at the age of about 11, will try my best to visit again on my next trip home, keep posting the pics, they give me ideas of where i should visit when i come home.

Nature island. Dominica boasts of beautiful sceneries as this one. Just gorgeous! Such lush, natural greenery! Words are insufficient to express my feelings. Makes me homesick. Would love to swim in the water.
