Great, Holy Photo, Elton! Thank you for taking it. Thank you DNO for posting it! It warms my heart with a smile. Both of you have won an award which descended from God Himself, a mortal and spiritual one. :)
Our Lord Jesus Christ is pleased with you. :) You have won his Most Sacred Heart! You will receive your award/reward in Heaven, on that day and yes, even while you are on earth his blessing and graces will be bestowed upon you.
I love the Mass and love attending it and love participating it.

On the night before He was betrayed, at supper, He took bread, gave thanks and praise to His (Our) Almighty Father. He broke the bread, gave it to his disciples, and said: “Take this all of you, and eat it; this is my body which will be given up for you.”
Then He took the cup, filled with wine, again He gave thanks and praise, handed the cup to his disciples and said: “Take this, all of you, and drink from it: this is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant it will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of Me.”
    It is in the Bible!
The Importance of the Mass. A saintly man since departed, St. Maximilan Kolbe, a Polish Priest who was sent to the gas chamber by Hitler and his regime said: “One More Mass!”
There is a book which is entitled, “The Treasure of the Mass.”
This is what the Catholic Church is doing at every Holy Mass and will continue to do until the end of time. During the Consecration, the following is stated on certain Sundays and Holy Days:

    1. Let us proclaim the mystery of faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.
    2. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ… Dying you destroyed our death, rising you restored our life. Lord Jesus come in glory.
    3. We are faithful, Lord, to your command: When we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death, Lord Jesus, until you come in glory.
    4. Christ is Lord of all ages! Lord, by your cross and resurrection, you have set us free. You are the Saviour of the world.
This Holy Mass, recognizing His Blessed Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ for what He has done for us which is celebrated throughout the world is what which is keeping the hands of God from striking the earth.
Considering the time zones of countries, every second in the entire world Holy Mass is not celebrated.
It is said that when an ample of souls are saved as God sees fit, God will destroy the world or that Judgment Day will take place. God is patient! So much more to share with you!
God bless every one! God bless and protect our beautiful island of Dominica.

I really think you crazy eh Truth. What kind of long, boring, alleluia thing you wrote?

        @ LaLa

You are the crazy one who has no sense whatsoever in your head and lack understanding.
What type of information and books do you read? What type of TV programs and movies do you view? What type of Radio Station programs do you listen to? What type of intelligence do you have?  What type of worship do you give to God?
Are you a Christian? If you are be kind and loving. It appears you lack those godly virtues.
A Saint, St. Vincent de Paul said: “Be kind. Be kind and you will be a saint.” Some of you are far from that. It appears that by your words you do not desire it.
Would you prefer reading nonsensical information? One’s intelligence can only go so far which is what I suspect about you. Your intelligence and patience need upgrading.
One of the Fruits and Gifts of the Holy Spirit is “Patience.” You are in dire need of God’s Gift of Patience.
Some of you are not perfecting yourself in thoughts, words and deeds.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said: “A tree is known by its fruits” and “I tell you on the Day of Judgment, every idle word that you shall speak you shall render an account thereof. By your words you will be acquitted. By your words you will be condemned.”
You are not adhering to the teachings of the Holy Spirit. It is such a shame for one who may say “I am a Christian.” Christian in only word and nothing concrete as God knows.

      @ DE CARIBBEAN CHANGE

You, too, must pray for them and for yourself, also for Dominica and resident nationals of all. :)
      Have a blessed Independence Day.
Today is also the Feast Day of St. Martin de Porres in the parish I reside in, in Toronto. I attended Holy Mass in his honor, praying that God will bless and grant my wishes for myself, the family and friends, the City and Country which I reside in and specifically for Dominica and nationals residing in DA and the entire world through “the intercession of St. Martin de Porres.” There is a lot to pray for.
After celebration of Holy Mass a reception was held in the Church Hall.
During the Homily the Priest spoke about him, his life, love for God, his humility and godly works. He was born in Lima, Peru.
I have read and also heard about him specifically on Catholic Radio. While on earth God granted him miracles. They are too much to mention here.
Dominica’s Independence coincides with his Feast Day. How could I have forgotten DA and the celebrations, wishing that I were there.
God bless you and your family! We must all pray for others wherever they reside, near or far.

WHEN WE SAY ‘BLESS ME FATHER’ WE DON’T MEAN THE PRIEST. WE REFER TO GOD. JUST CLEARING THE AIR

Why do people have to comment if they have nothing positive to say. Why are people so negative. The best thing anyone can offer to anyone or their country is prayers. It’s free and the greatest gift ever. People please be positive especially for your country.

      @ Easy

Excellent comment. At every Holy Mass which is celebrated, the Catholic Church prays for every one in the world with no exception.
Whatever our beliefs and religious affiliation, we are obligated to pray for one another. Remember that Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “Love one another” and “Do good to those who hate you.” Prayers fall into this category.
God bless you for taking a righteous stand. Hope you had an enjoyable Independence Day and Celebration.

ADMIN: Why don’t you take the time and send us some photos yourself instead of complaining about another person’s contribution?

      ADMIN:
I echo it. Great response. Some people are chronic complainers. They need the blessing and grace of God.
The story goes as far as I read that once someone was complaining and was moody and the Priest said to the person who, to be fair and just, was another Priest: “Father you need to go to Confession.” I laughed about that. This is worth passing on for those people who call themselves Christians and some who also left the Catholic Church to join other religions.
I also heard on Catholic Radio, “A moody Christian is a contradiction.” This means, contradiction of what Our Lord taught us and St. Paul told us as contained in Holy Scriptures including what the Church teaches. We are to be joyful people but how many are.
