I was thinking the same thing. I must say its rather good timing and position that this rainbow was seen, after such destruction of property and livestock. On the other hand the beauty of the island can still be seen.

IT LOOKS SO PEACEFUL NOW. Nature; who can understand it…..

In the midst of disappointments, fears, tears, turmoil and the loss of property, there is always a ray of hope which descends from no other but God Himself.
The rainbow is beautiful. Even after the flood the stretch of land and the green trees look beautiful. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
After a storm there is a silver lining. We just have to look for the silver lining. This rainbow is not without reason.
Fellow Dominicans, take note of this rainbow which is a sign from God who is faithful and true to his promises and is directly saying, “Believe in Me! Behold! I am with you always. Take heart. Have patience and hope and persevere. All will be well in time. I will never forsake you my people.”
This is the manner in which the godly enlightened will/should view this beautiful picture and the rainbow. God is taking care of his children and always will be. The rainbow is a sign of hope.
    God bless every one!
