Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.
Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.
Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.
Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy’

WONDERFULL picture there will always be the haters, people if you cant be positive just dont , do not post negatives it only shows that you have indept psychological problem.that need to be resolved ,maybe you was traumatized as a child why would you condem such a beutifull picture i will pay for your mental therapy.
Just opposite of the main road, an indian guy named Nick and his girl friend perished in their burnt house… some where in the 70’s.

@brain damage… that’s true. I was born in the 80’s but my mom told me about it. The girl was her cousin. Nick did not want to return home to an arranged marriage because he was in love. Earlier, while they were out selling their merchandise, he told a male friend that he was going to set fire to the house and kill himself but he was not taken seriously. By the time the family was notified of the fire in the night-time, the house was already burnt to ashes when they arrived. All they found was the bedsprings, her teeth and a small part of his chest. About 10 years ago, 2 old fisherman told her mom, who is still alive, that they had seen her ghost sitting on the parapit near the site at 1:00am.
