Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.
Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.
Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.
Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy’

Dominicans, love and appreciate what you have in Dominica, as also the beauty of Dominica. How often we are so busy going about our business and we do not even look up.
Once when I visited Dominica, friends organized an evening party in their yard. It was a beautiful evening. As we sat having an enjoyable time, I looked up to the sky and observed many shining stars. The sky is low in Dominica or some parts of it. I kept looking at them and admiring them. I marveled at this beautiful sight. This was also beauty in itself even in the evening. It felt like it was Heaven on earth, a little piece of Heaven. God grants us this view. Just imagine what Heaven will be like for those whom God will save. I pray that I will be one of those. Let us not miss the boat.
