Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.

Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.

Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy

    Isn’t the nature island beautiful? Caption should read “Coconut tree meets the sun” rather than sun meets coconut tree. :lol:

    nice pic,no doubt,because every picture carries it’s own uniqueness,but i got one question,and that is to general public,and that is also not in a critical way,i would like to know if the people do not feel like a photo of the day,should have more depth,or background,or should bring out more,like something that will bring out more comments,if you all understand what i am trying to say.

    Good example of back lighting.

    A bit of the foreground in the photo would have made it more dramatic.
