a vey good photo indeed!
the background in pitch dark falls right into place, as beams of sunshine sparkle magnificently upon the sole inhabitant- kinda make me think about eve and the serpant.
Memories of Dominica oh I remember the day my mum sent me to the garden to get limes and saw on of these, I ran from the bottom of the garden to the house in seconds only to find out that there was a branch with thorns sticking from my foot. I was bleeding profusely but did not feel a thing, I was so scared of that snake. I’m still afraid of them. Nice picture but I hope that I do not have nightmares falling asleep. LOL
@tyrell: Tyrell, You are right.. This is a Kouwes jenga / Kouwes zenga (depending on which part of the island you come from, its zenga or jenga). This snake is not to be comfused with the “Kouwes nwe” that some peopole simply call “koulev”. So the caption should have said which Kuowes it is.
Good shot, Glenworth. This even looks like the black-and-yellow version of the snake.
What a lovely photo. Beautiful Snake enjoying it’s natural habitat.
mas thats really cool, glad i didnt see any when i lived there……..
And here I am thinking it was called ‘kou lev zenga’! Man, I need to polish up on my patios!
I use to be sooo afraid of kouwes when i was growing up. Im still afraid of them but nice photo
